if you intended to use razer boards long term, you should just learn soldering and desoldering. this way you can fix stuff when they break. alternatively, just get new razer boards.

there are plenty of options that are better than razer boards. however, it's your preference, it's your call.

I am not sure how the backplate got rusty, some switches doesn't work that well anymore (multiple entries)
I am lazy to desolder the whole thing and replace all the switch and repaint the backplate, but it is a fantastic keyboard.

Hi sifu, any recommendation of mechanical keyboard with red switch (not cherry also ok la), budget around rm300++.

I'm always shifting between 2 laptops + 2 phones, looking for something like IKBC W210, but need hot-swappable, bluetooth & PBT cap.

Thanks!!!!

not sure. maybe you should wait for others for suggestions, and ask the same at mymkb fb page as well.

tbh, most prebuilts are less than optimal at stock, unless you tune them accordingly.

If Logitech stuck with mainly using Cherry MX switches in their keyboards, I would have thought the same, but, sadly, they decide to be "unique" bangwall.gif

Still wishing we get a "unifying receiver" Cherry MX keyboard from Logitech one day. (I know there are Chinese PCBs for that)

it's for reference purposes LOL

from my limited observations, these old unmodded prebuilts are still better than most new and existing boards out there. although impressive, this also tells us that most manufacturers just don't bother to improve theirs. they just wanna make money
