FD promo cannot remove early.
2.4% is already nett fees.

Some money market fund already beat FD promo.

2.4% pa as of June 2020.

I think Simple™ with Eastspring Investments Islamic Income Fund also can offer that:

Rates + speed of withdrawal is my main criteria. I am ok with say higher returns than Phillips but maybe need to wait one day to get the money out.

How long you bought this money market fund?
Based on the distribution history, how fast they credit the "new" units provided distribution is reinvested?

A few months, sitting there waiting for the next crash. Usually they're pretty fast, annouce ex date, same day or next day already reinvested, this time oddly enough my account was not credited with the distribution 6 days since the ex date.

Yeah, since I use Maybank as my local broker, I could just transfer my balance to my Maybank account and just dump straight into MMF there without jumping another hoop and transferring to FSM.

It takes 2-3 days to get money out.
PMMMF takes same day if using Maybank before 11am
*
Even if use other bank, it takes one working day to withdraw provided the order is submitted before 9.45 am.

For purchase order, within one working day if the order is submitted by 10.30 am

Remember that the principal fund invest in money market and Islamic FD which are suspectible to the OPR. With recent drop of OPR, the projection should be amended.

But Simple™ didn't change the projection; i.e. they're confident of securing the projected rate.

Could the Simple projected rate ever change?
Yes, depending on economic conditions, your StashAway Simple™’s projected rate may change, as its underlying fund is affected by Malaysia's economic health and trajectory. We will always notify you in the case of a change in the projected rate. The risk level to which your money is exposed will never change within StashAway Simple™.
