This is the latest rate for PMMMF:

If base on opus fund factsheet
https://www.opusasset.com/wp-content/upload...v=1604143129848,

it would seem Opus slightly better (2.05% vs 1.9%) at least for this YTD.

YTD may not be accurate as OPR has been in the downward trend.

Try use 1-week or 1-month figure for rough estimattion:

1-week: 0.03% or 1.56% pa
1-month: 0.18% or 2.16% pa

Thanks. But I think no point as Philip Money Market Fund is also based on YTD. I think maybe likely Opus will perform better as we are not paying any fees as compared to other money market fund

I am more interested to know how fast can I get my money back.
Interest is about 2%p.a. Not very good considering simple is 2.4%, Phillips is 2.3%

The Versa app will allow investors to withdraw their money within a day, similar to what is already being offered by some of the existing fund houses.

However, Teoh plans to allow Versa’s users to spend the money they have invested in AHAM’s Enhanced Deposit Fund instantly, starting the second quarter of next year.

Also, Versa has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a global payments technology company, an international financial services company that facilitates electronic fund transfers globally, which will allow Versa’s users to make payments starting next year.

“If the plan is successful, subject partly to regulatory approval, our users will receive a debit or prepaid card that will allow them to spend the money invested in AHAM’s fund instantly. You may walk up to a merchant and make payments with your card. The money will be deducted from the pool of money you have invested in AHAM’s fund. You can also make online payments to purchase stuff by keying in the card details.

“If the plan pans out, it will be the first of its kind in Malaysia,” says Teoh, adding that Grab Holdings Inc launched a similar initiative called Grab Invest in Singapore recently.

Simple™ competitor?

Versa Collaborates With Affin Hwang To Launch New Digital Cash Management Solution

Versa Asia has collaborated with Affin Hwang Asset Management to launch a new cash management mobile app that allows Malaysians to earn returns similar to fixed deposit rates on their invested money through money market funds. It also offers them the flexibility of being able to access their funds at any time, with no lock-ins and hidden terms.

Versa works like a savings account, but with returns on par with FD interest rates – and without the need to visit a bank. Once you’ve registered an account with Versa, you can then deposit an amount of money into it, which will be invested into Affin Hwang’s Enhanced Deposit Fund. Returns will then be re-deposited into your account and re-invested until you decide to withdraw them.

Versa allows you to start saving at a minimum of RM100, and it charges no hidden fees, including management, transfer, and exit fees. You can also withdraw your money anytime without penalty, with income distribution calculated up to the day of withdrawal.

Some said SAMY is subsidizing the projected return of Simple™.
Real return from its underlying MMF is just 1.9% pa.

Had just registered and pending for personal account verification, wanna try how is this Versa doing
Looks like can only buy 1 MMF.. No other available funds to see there.
For me the important is the redemption processing time The MMF rate is the the extra bonus

PHillip Master mmf still have the fastest redemption time T+0

This is what I captured from Versa apps,

It is only restricted to cash management funds.

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 28 — A new mobile application called Versa launched its platform today, offering Malaysians an alternative to fixed deposits that allows them to grow any idle cash on hand.

The company said it is the first recognised digital cash management platform to obtain approval and licence from the Securities Commission Malaysia.

Ya I know,
If affin can solve my problem, sure I use allocate plus to purchase this MMF, not need middle man. I do saw this fund too in the apps. This fund is the reason I try allocate plus bcoz MMF, easy redeem.
But until today no news 😭😭
