Yup. Still available.

The latest stepping is still the G0 stepping (has "SLARC" written on the box/proc, to indicate G0)

Eh? I thought I was careful not to type wrongly.... sweat.gif Typo....

Anyway, I have almost finished my simple guide on overclocking the C2D/C2Q (see my sig)......

Going to add a E2160 and E8400 CPU as examples later on....

Any recommendation on how to improve it is welcomed.

Thx to bryanyeo87 for his feedback. thumbup.gif

i think 3.2ghz should be no problem for stock hsf. smile.gif

definitely xigmatek since the TR is over your budget.

I am worried. The temp looks high@2.88Ghz only and the vdroop is also high@ (1.3375-1.248 = 0.08). Any comments?

I think for 2.88g at 1.3375v is on the high side, try lowering your voltage, i am at 3.2g n voltage at 1.325v consider not that good even compare with yours even worst.

Highest temp at 54'c? That's ok ma.....

Mine is even worse, 3.2Ghz at 1.400v (BIOS), at load, it is 1.312v...... sweat.gif Core temperature at load is about 60-62'C sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

My vccore at bios is 1.284 n cpuz read the same when idle load at 1.248, again temp hovering around 59-65 when quad prime, i dont know why so high temp, anyway i have been using for more than 2 months at this setting, so far so good. Admire your temp at only 60-62 even higher vcore voltage setting than mine.
