thats the funny thing i dont really know how to use the program anyway. And not sure why there is two cpu readings

add:
after installing asus probe2, the temp on that thing doesnot show any irregularities showing a cpu temp of only 34celcius

i have used speed fan 4.33 and its still not the same shows lower by 7c compared to core temp.

a few question of mine

1. why when i try to oc to 3.2 using any multiplier 8/9 and use occt to stress out occt keep giving me errors (come out graph result saying error detected)after a few minutes? or the pc would just restart itself? (keep in mind im using custom set vcore)

2. tried using stock vcore and still the problem persist. Using prime95 also gave the same result.

3. Things that i change on my mobo asus maximus formula was only the multiplier 8/9, fsb 333/366/400 and vcore to anywhere btw 1.275-1.54
i did not change any other function on the mobo besided those three options

plz in need of dire help

i got my proc to be stable for Prime95 @ 3.6GHz on 1.48V, in idle its 52C and full load reaches 75C...thats crazy, so i reduced the vcore to 1.45V and its stable for normal use with idle at 48C, no crashes or BSOD yet so far. SuperPI, Everest and 3DMark benchmarking ran smoothly.

will try to lower down the voltage to <1.4V and test for basic system stability soon.

ambient temperature is 35C (very hot sweat.gif )

did u change the nb and sb volt as well when u did this? as u said before u tried even up to 1.55 but couldnt get it to stable before?

ah, i never said i tried up to 1.55, thats someone else, the max i went was 1.48V, it was stable for prime95 at that voltage. anything below is not.

and yes i did change the nb/sb volt.

my current idle temp is <50C @ 1.45V, but unstable for prime, its stable for normal use, no such crashes or BSOD, gaming, superpi, everest all ran smoothly, no prob.
*
hmm same like me lorr like that. Did try push to 3.6 but couldnt get it to run prime or OCCT on a stable basis, but if use just like that everything seems ok

the speedfan must be joking. at idle room temp should not be 22C. u would need an aircond room at least to get those temp. Unless that is if ur using besides air colling on ur rig....

this is my current result after some help from a sifu.....

running at 8x400=3.2
vcore at bios=1.272
others can see in pic provided below
