QUOTE(S16 @ Jul 22 2009, 07:17 PM) bro... wats the purpose of C1E, ESIT & loadline calibration? wats the diff between enable it and disable it? Those r power saving feature doing things like dropping vcore & multiplier to reduce speed during idle.my setting... 378x9 @ 3.4GHz... Vcore is 1.4V... how to increase the Vdrop? disable to see how far u can push. as for vdrop & v droop........example....... lets say u set the vcore 1.4 @ bios, the actual vcore wen u check wit monitoring s/w is actually a little less den 1.4. dis is vdrop. vdroop is the vcore dropping during stress. wen u stress test & monitor the vcore, it drop slightly. loadline calibration is enable to reduce the vdroop hence improving overclocking because u wan the vcore to b stable during stress. |

loadline calibration is 2 decrease vdroop.
Thre is ntgh u can do wit vdrop, it dun matter anyway. Just set the vcore slightly higher den wat u intended. |
