bad batch of proc ?
but even me i think 1.45V is considered very high for diz proc .
seen some review mentioned could push 3.6ghz arnd 1.4v only .
not sure its true or not >.<"
tried lower d vCore n 1 of d core wont work on p95 and orthos >.<"

Added on April 26, 2009, 6:01 amoh btw anyone tried 3.8ghz daily ?
seems like my proc cant push above 3.6 by far .
maybe stupid RAM .
nid to get my hands on those D9GMH or D9GKX chipset RAMs .

anyway, tried to push around 3.8ghz - 4ghz can boot but seems like my RAM sucks hell i cant even push far from 800MHZ >.<" sure BSOD
damn i wish could get my hands on those d9gkx chipset rams and try tweak for at least 450x8 >.<"

QUOTE(hilmiangah @ May 7 2009, 01:03 AM)
whats the timing when u ran the 3.8ghz setting??
*
i tried 850-900mhz at 5-5-5-15 at 2.0V >.<" cant get it stable .
guess its me or my RAM sucks .

i really wanted to try 3.8ghz stable daily usage biggrin.gif
temperature is not much problem for me .
cause im pretty sure my setup is very efficient in terms of temperature control .
ambient temp perhaps 30-33C
nothing else generate great heats inside d casing .
2x 92mm fans sucking out hot air from proc and NB area .
2x 120mm pushing in 60CFM each at front part .
rad located bottom as normal for TJ07 setup .

i gotta learn more on ram tweaking >.<"

its not recommended lor since urs now 3.5ghz oso nid 1.475V .
1.55V is still considered acceptable .
but u nid to make sure ur casing got good ventilation and everything so d proc heat wont affect other hardwares as well .
ur using 4890 which also generate lots of heat .
dat might b d problem of ur hanging PC .
hmm , anyway changing to 850W might not solve ur problem .
even i7 OCed to 4ghz + GTX285 SLI wif overvolt mod only use around 680W .
urs might juz nid around 450W++ only .

Added on May 14, 2009, 9:07 pmanyone can give comment on my OC setting ?

im currently trying to run 3.75ghz at 415x9 1:1 830mhz DDR2 4-4-4-12 2.2v

vCore 1.5
PLL 1.6
vNB 1.49
vTT 1.39
vDIMM 2.2

i got reading 46C idle 55C load >.<"
to me i think still considered low temp ^^,
any comment guys ?

dat was juz testing bro >.<"

now testing 423x9 for 3.8ghz daily .. im getting 47C idle load 67C
vCore 1.55
PLL 1.54
vNB 1.45
vTT 1.34
vDimm 2.16

anyway, i think my RAM too sucky .
i cant even get it stable at 846mhz without BSOD >.<"
tried auto, loose timer and also tight timer .
all giving me BSOD >.<"
i nid to try these settings on good chipset RAM >.<"

QUOTE(hilmiangah @ May 15 2009, 06:39 PM)
so the extra cost over a normal value ram is just for a good looking heatsink then.

from experience come knowledge.
for ur 1st statement , yes i guess its crap .
when i wanted to buy new ram , i was juz thinking of grabbing 4GB kit dat's y .
shud haf pick team extreem D9GKX !
at least get crucial ballistix for its d9gmh .

but i heard nowadays d RAMs are from bad batch ?

anyway yeah , when get enuf money i will sell diz RAM and get d9gkx.
my dream RAM is CellShock .
but seems like not many ppl out there selling it haih ...

for ur 2nd statement, yes i agree to d quotation , dont mind d heatsink for god sake. we nid good CHIP !!!

wat he mean is when we pump 1.5v , in bios only 1.5v but there's vDrop maybe like 1.47v .

so when u want kira bill or PSU requirement, use 1.5v or 1.47v to calculate .
rite rite ?

hehe biggrin.gif

anyway, so im still curious wat is diz sub-timing and alpha timing ?
