No. Too Far away from Tokyo. After adding transpotation cost, not worth.
People prefer Gotemba Premium outlet, since travel out from Tokyo, mights well go Gotemba.

Depends on what you looking for

We went to the makuhari mitsui outlet on the Disneyland line, few stops after
There’s a Seiko outlet there which is pretty good, there’s also banana republic and the usual Tommy and north face as well
Some notes in my blog if you are interested

Hi, I am planning a trip to Tokyo next month and am currently searching for an affordable hotel to stay in. I realize it's a bit late, and I've noticed that the prices are on the higher side. I was wondering which area would be best for me and my parents. I have come across recommendations on various websites (reddit, youtube, etc), but I'm not quite sure which one is the most suitable.

Asakusa is suitable for elderlies

There are still affordable decent hotels (RM100 to RM300 range) can be found in March.

Thanks for the recommendation! But I couldn't find such affordable decent hotels in that particular area that you have stated at that price range through agoda...

Try using google hotel search or airbnb. Sometimes airbnb is quite cheap in Tokyo

probably u search using more than 2 adults, so the rooms can be quite expensive.

strategically, sometimes it's much cheaper if u book two separate rooms for more than two adults, than to combine everyone in one room.

u can compare the prices if you search using 2 adults compared to more than 2 adults. Sometimes it's cheaper even if you add two rooms together.

also, try other platform such as hotels.com instead of agoda.

Can but no needed. Booked Shinkansen tickets online are one of most dumbest thing in Earth.
Not necessary. Very less Japanese taking Bus to Kawaguchiko. Because most will be self driving from Tokyo, not far away plus Japanese prefer train.
Taking Express bus from Shinjuku Station are one of most inconvenience thing.

Why is it the dumbest thing to do? Why so sour?

Btw people, are these passes good? I checked the places I want to go to in Tokyo, all seems to be using Tokyo Metro lines anyways.
Klook Tokyo Unlimited Passes

EG: if i travel from my hotel to Shibuya, also cost about RM7 one-way already. This passes costs me RM45 for 3 days with unlimited usages, sounds like a deal?

Yes this is the pass I always use when I'm in Tokyo. But you don't have to buy with Klook, it is sold at all subway stations, 1500 yen for 72 hours so start count from the first station you use.

Shinkansen or using JR pass is now very very expensive, you can check how much for 7 days I guarantee you flight is much cheaper for say Tokyo to Osaka. JR also not needed in Tokyo, use the subway pass. Don't have to waste time queue up buy ticket or um um ah ah to ask the counter, just follow google map instruction and walk through barrier.

1) Train museum
2) Miniature world

Are they like nearby or too far/expensive to go?

nice kah niseko? I haven't travel up there but saw the lift queues, it's insane.
this season, I mainly snowboard every weekend around Nagano/niigata and prefer those with less queue but shitty snow condition. previous seasons mainly around ishikawa/fukui/toyama
i always book my shinkansen ticket online whether business trip or personal sweat.gif i prefer everything on my phone plus eki-net can get discounted tickets if you book early
*
Where do you book your shinkansen ticket from? The website doesn't seem very friendly.
hehe..

i queue up for 2 hours just to get into the cable car at the Zao ropeway vmad.gif

but when i was at Mount Hakkoda, there was barely any queue at all.

why is there so much crowd at Zao Ropeway but hardly any crowd at Mt Hakkoda. Both also offer view of the snow monsters hmm.gif

Mt Hakkoda too small plus no light illumination on night.

Hi guys,

Planning to go Tokyo next month, and will land at Narita Airport.
I have googled and found this app, Japan Web Info.

Have anyone download and find it helpful especially on reducing Custom clearance queue time and etc?

Thanks
