Going to Osaka & Tokyo early November, need some advise/answer

Hows the weather (in person) ? from google is autumn between 8c - 20c
Like Genting/Cameron? normal sweater/jacket will do?
Pocket money mainly for food/daily transport etc, RM200/6500 yen +-
Enough for 1 day? (first time visit Japan) not sure on the price
Regarding shinkansen, from Osaka/Kyoto to Tokyo.
I plan to go Nara Park in the morning, maybe afternoon will travel to Tokyo via Shinkansen.
Need advise the following?
1) From Google, I need to buy ticket at Shin-Osaka Station? price is around 15k+- yen (not sure if price increased). Using Tokaido Shinkansen line
I need to buy a few day in advance? or is there cheaper option like buying online before traveling?

2) Should I take the Shinkansen from Kyoto Station? Direct after visit Nara Park
If yes, can i buy the ticket at any Station? or how?

For Tokyo, check this out:
72 hour subway pass, only 1500 yen, one day 500 yen can sit unlimited subway under Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway lines. Comes with some discounts for museums and some tourist stuff too.

https://www.tokyometro.jp/en/ticket/travel/index.html

Food I have recommendations for some sushi shops. Go during lunch time, they have promo sets around 1000+ yen only. Same restaurants if eat during dinner is 5/6000 yen. The independent ones I really like, feel super authentic and really worth it.

Breakfast I will go Yoshinoya/Sukiya gyudon shops, their food cheaper than 7-11 FamilyMart. Wherever area you stay you must go find the local ramen shop though, those local ones are the best.

Japan got many "tourist pass" haaha very confusing to me
Can i know how to determine which is tokyo Metro and Toei Subway lines? and where to buy this pass?
*
Yeah super confusing, just use Google maps wherever you need to go.

Basically is all the subway lines is Metro or Toei, not the trains (like our KTM). This pass can buy at any subway station.

i see, how about Osaka? got any pass recommend?
*
Highly depend on how you go to Osaka from Tokyo, and what you do and spend how many days in Osaka Kyoto Nara. If you take flight is much cheaper. If you want to take shinkansen then buy JR pass lo, around RM1k 7 days or 14 days 1.5k. If want then buy before Oct 1, huge price increase.

If stay in Osaka only, then Osaka metro pass around 700 yen a day

https://metronine.osaka/en/ticket/ticket-b02/

If go here and there can check out Kansai Thru Pass

https://www.surutto.com/tickets/kansai_thru_english.html

5400 yen for 3 days, dont need to use consecutively.

For Kyoto can see here
https://www.discoverkyoto.com/visitors-guid...ay-pass-ticket/

Kobe-Osaka-Kyoto if really want super budget travelling, theres a rail pass for 1200yen for two days, for Hankyu rail.

hmm about price im not too sure as this is my first time go Japan but regarding food is quite expensive imo
for example for food like any normal restaurant or shop at mall normal ramen/don/rice is around 1000 yen/rm32, while in malaysia you still get it for around rm10-15 range
if is sets like with side dish, soup etc can easily go up to 1500-2000 yen.

but on the other hand for other stuff like gadget/IT product/toys/anime/model etc etc all the price are pretty similar with the one you can get in malaysia

where did you find Evian for 120yen? haha usually i saw is around 150 or higher
but ngl their bottle water are pretty cheap if you willing to carry around, as a 2L mineral water is only 65 yen
and their alcohol at konbini is cheaper than duty free at KLIA hahah  biggrin.gif

Food you really have to hunt OR go to places like Sukiya, you can get beef bowl for 3-400 yen. I've been few times so I know quite a few places in Tokyo. Like Unatoto is place for unagi rice only 500+yen.

oh ya the overall service and process is quite ok la no issues at all
but ya since you mentioned it the seat is very hard haha from SGN to KIX sit till butt pain  laugh.gif
ya i mean sure i can find like 500 yen ramen etc but in general prices for food are quite expensive in most restaurant at Japan if you dont purposely look for budget restaurant
haha even in family mart some chicken sandwich can go for 400-500 yen while in malaysia family mart still below rm10
*
Haha enjoy also can enjoy on budget if you know where to go. I never go to family mart or cheapo place. In Japan cheap doesn't mean low class or high class can be cheap also. Example Tsukiji fish market sushi, I know a few places, real old school proper sushi master place but lunch set only 1000 yen. If you go dinnertime is 5-6000 yen

Thanks for the recommendation! But I couldn't find such affordable decent hotels in that particular area that you have stated at that price range through agoda...

Try using google hotel search or airbnb. Sometimes airbnb is quite cheap in Tokyo

Why is it the dumbest thing to do? Why so sour?
Btw people, are these passes good? I checked the places I want to go to in Tokyo, all seems to be using Tokyo Metro lines anyways.
Klook Tokyo Unlimited Passes

EG: if i travel from my hotel to Shibuya, also cost about RM7 one-way already. This passes costs me RM45 for 3 days with unlimited usages, sounds like a deal?
*
Yes this is the pass I always use when I'm in Tokyo. But you don't have to buy with Klook, it is sold at all subway stations, 1500 yen for 72 hours so start count from the first station you use.

Shinkansen or using JR pass is now very very expensive, you can check how much for 7 days I guarantee you flight is much cheaper for say Tokyo to Osaka. JR also not needed in Tokyo, use the subway pass. Don't have to waste time queue up buy ticket or um um ah ah to ask the counter, just follow google map instruction and walk through barrier.
