hey guys, tried core temp 0.96, realise it reporting higher temp than 0.95, my e2140 oc'ed to 3.0ghz temp are 55c on core temp and intel TAT, but 68-70c on core temp 0.96... worried my temp now, but the tcasemax raised to 100c instead of 85c...

I think 0.96 has the correct reading.. Try using speedfan

My E2140? The most I can go is 3.48Ghz benchable. Anything beyond that I still haven't got it Orthos stable. Why not you sell your Foxconn Mars to me so I can give it a shot?

sold already, the buyer banked in and still haven't post the item...
, damn... i'm not a good trader  , well, spoke with buyer earlier though, that it's gonna be take time until got the motherboard replacement, the buyer agreed  , so should be no problem...wait... this isn't the right section , sorry... |

just got e8400 last week and now only got chance to test it.. booted straight away @ 4ghz with geminiII . vcore is at 'normal' (gigabyte easytuner detect it @ 1.34vcore) stable for 24/7..
well i'm pretty sure 4ghz will becomes norms with penryn.. erm so 4.7ghz shud be the minimum target for average overclocker here |
