does buying a used p965-ds3 rev1.0 at RM230 worth it?
can it support 1333 proc for future? any diff between rev3.3 and rev1.0?

guys, between abit p35-e and gigabyte p35-ds3, which one should i go for?
budget is RM430 max.

i'm choosing for a friend and gonna pair it with E6750 or E6550 ...
any comments on these two boards?
dun feel like letting him use 965 chipsets anymore lah

great ...i broke one of my stock intel hsf locking pin...
now need to find replacement hsf .. some suggestions please?

my aim is to oc to 3ghz ...thats good enuff ..
ohh ya no need expensive one .. just as long it can provide good cooling and cheaper than RM120 ..can?

is arctic cooling freezer 7 pro good? (noise and cooling wise)

yeah, whats the vcore, idle temp and load temp?

i juz use the windows version of bios update (gigabyte @bios). easy. few clicks and restart pc

im on a P35-DS3 rev 2.0 with e4300 and 2gb 667 kingston value rams ......i want to oc my proc to 3ghz and fix my mem to 667 ... how ?
coz right now i'm limited by the oc'ing ability of the mem ..

i cannot manually set fsb and mem speed asynchronously ah?

hey, what should i expect from my current setup?

c2d e4300 + kvr ddr2 667 + p35-ds3

how high can this kvr ddr2 rams go? is pumping 2.0V for the ram ok?
right now i'm running @ 3ghz 1.4V (333x9) with 1:1 config and i put 2.0V for the ram.

do u think i can push higher than that?
* i'm oc limited by the value ram and stock hsf

what tool to use to control fan speed in vista ?
lazy to use the one supplied by gigabyte

i feel like urs is a bit slow .... e4400 @ 3.04GHz only get 28 secs?
i tot supposed to be around 19-21 secs ?
is something else running in background?

haih ... i'm a bit frustrated.
why is it with arctic freezer 7 pro on 3GHz c2d e4300 the temps are 46'c @ idle and 68'c @ load on orthos ...i feel something is wrong
ohh ya im using ac mx-2 and the fan rpm is set to fixed ~2800rpm

tried to re-sit the proc & hsf 2-3 times and it's the same ..
everything seems tights/firm to me ... and my casing is an open-case
