1. T7300 vs T7200, similar or no significant improvement, super pi tells u all
2. 8400m gs scored ~2500 vs fx350m ~2000 in 3dmark05
3. wugxa is sharper right?

in a nut shell, dun expect any significant improvement over current one esp. in processing power. as for gaming, better go for 8600m gt

I'd say stick with your older laptop. You probably won't notice a big performance leap (say maybe 10%), but you can be rest assured that your Precision business class notebook will have much better build quality compared to the Inspiron consumer class notebook.

Only downside i can think of is maybe that business class notebooks tend to have not as good speakers as multimedia notebooks, but if you were fine with your Precision's speakers then no worry. smile.gif

oo.. the speaker sux eh.. but i dont mind la.. i dont listen music tru the speaker also.. thx for all the comments.. i think most probably i not going to change then...

anyway.. i still will go touch touch the inspiron 1520 b4 making my final decision tongue.gif

but then in term of reselling value.. still precision higher price than inspiron right? hmm.gif

oic. thank alot. but is it good to use so much ram?
my ram usage is almost 1gb... but my ram is 2gb la. but my friend acer only use 700mb of ram. but he only got 1gb of ram in total .

and when im runing some aplication my cpu usage spike very high. just some office word and antivirus. it sumtimes spike to 100 percent.... isit something wrong???
*
It's fine if cpu usage spike when starting a program but make sure it's not consistent such as 10 min 100% cpu usage.
The ram usage is also depend on what program you are using and startup. It's normal if you are using vista.

Both almost the same , the difference are the driver and software. If you run Auto cad on fx350m , you'll see significance improvement on speed compare to 8400m.It'll be the same if you play a game on 8400m better on handing than fx350m.

nVidia drivers on their website only cater to desktop GPUs, for laptop GPUs try laptopvideo2go.com, but be sure to read the instructions 1st!

Before you install XP, you must first configure a setting in BIOS else XP CD will not detect your hardisk
