Reception of RCTI and SCTV is no longer possible due to the interference. Weak reception of RCTI was possible when MUX 2 is on 698MHz.

The signal readings has slightly increased for 650MHz when compared to 698MHz due to slightly lower frequency band.

You're still connected to your condo's centralised antenna, right?
Did you try buy/use an outdoor UHF antenna to see if reception improves?

Berita RTM is understandably to launch officially tonight after long period of test transmissions since 31 December 2018 (as BES).

It was intended to launch on 20 June and will stay exclusive on myFreeview for now.

Wow... Prime time news bulletin on Berita RTM channel seems very world class to me blink.gif blink.gif

Seriously I never ever expect RTM would become like this....
The intro of the news bulletin is really eye opening, especially from a local FTA station blink.gif
They changed the studio design look, motion graphics design, fonts and so on... rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Until today, MYTV still looking for someone to collaborate with them to launch some more interactive and pay TV services onto their platform.
https://themalaysianreserve.com/2020/06/26/mytv-seeks-collaboration-for-new-channels/
QUOTE
MYTV Broadcasting Sdn Bhd is looking to collaborate with Malaysian broadcasters to introduce new services like pay-TV and multi-screen services by 2022.
QUOTE
MYTV CEO Mazlan Mahdi said myFreeview needs to offer more than just being a free-to-air digital TV platform.
He said the group is currently in talks with broadcasters to find suitable contents to push these services through.
“We are keen on developing new services like pay-TV, multi-screen or other related services sought by Malaysian broadcasters.
“It would be an eye-opener for viewers to know that besides Astro and HyppTV as pay-TV platforms, MYTV can enable (such) seamless services too,” he told The Malaysian Reserve (TMR).
-----
See? Another "copy pasting" statement without doing any fact-check works....
QUOTE
It is a digital TV platform with no monthly fees featuring 15 high-definition channels and six radio channels.
In reality, currently MYTV has 8 High Definition (HD) channels and 7 Standard Definition (SD) channels, total 15 channels.
Aiyooo to those who wrote this article online, you trying to upsell their service, is it? Please stop misleading the readers laaa... Not 15 HD channels rclxub.gif
Previously, MCMC wrote the press statement wrongly, now you still follow it blindly shakehead.gif shakehead.gif

Agreed with you. I really like the evolution of RTM. From poorly designed motion graphics back in years, now they are doing something that even much more high quality compared to other stations. I personally really love this Berita RTM new intro. It looks very fresh and detailed especially how they picture the KL city. It makes Buletin Utama Tv3 leave behind with their simple 3D 😅

*

It depends on your device (either digital TV box, or IDTV).

*IDTV means integrated digital television, where the TV can supported digital TV signals.

Some receivers would auto update the channel list itself, such as MYTV own's digital TV box or certain IDTVs.
If you couldn't get the new channel, you can choose to perform Auto Scan or Manual Scan by yourself.

Berita RTM channel has been on MYTV since last year... If that channel isn't appear on your channel list, just perform either Auto/Manual Scan.

Media Prima to lay off 300 staff in second retrenchment exercise
https://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/medi...chment-exercise
QUOTE
In a June 3 report, CGS-CIMB Research said Media Prima’s mass layoffs which took place between December 2019 and March this year had reduced its headcount by just under 1,000 people, or about 26%, from 3,867 employees as at end-2018.

“Its headcount peaked at 4,793 in financial year 2010 (FY10). In FY14, it conducted its first mass layoffs that pushed down its staff strength to below 4,200,” it wrote.
10 years ago, they have about 4,793 employees.
10 years later, now they have less than 1,000 employees. That drastic change blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif

Looks like we don't need another 10 years time from now (or I would say, less than 5 years?), Media Prima would go bankrupt (or almost bankrupt) and its TV channels would cease broadcast?
Or maybe it still exists, but all TV3, NTV7, 8TV and TV9 would only show CJ Wow Shop and news bulletin, and seriously nothing else? I mean, no more TV shows from Korea, China, all those? Opps.... shocking.gif
Or... NTV7 and TV9 would become the first badge of channels to be ceased?

Hmm okay. sweat.gif

Correction : around 1000 workers are retranched from Media Prima after these exercises, and more will come if the profits drop further despite relatively stable profits from Q1 2020, mainly from CJ WOW SHOP.

There will be interruption/reduction of digital TV coverage for some areas of Seberang Prai area in Penang for a foreseeable future due to a fire that occur on TM Seberang Jaya site early this morning. DTT reception remained possible from Gunung Jerai site.

Tuned to RTM Sports just now. Curious since when RTM aired EPL matches? Even it is delayed matches but good enough.
