the stock is listing in different currency, said u want to buy S&PP500 which is in USD, u cant create order using other currency, the order wont convert FX for you

Just FYI in you are interested to delink from TSG.
These are the steps i have taken when i switched to IBKR.

In order to request a manual internal transfer please create a ticket online by following the steps below.
Please log into your client portal -> support -> scroll down to “web ticket” -> compose -> new ticket -> subject: manual internal transfer -> search Ibot -> continue to ticket -> Category: Funds & Banking – Position Transfers -> preview ticket and submit

In the detailed description (body) please mention the source/destination account numbers along with the positions/cash to be transferred. Please note that such transfers are subject to compliance review and approval. Time for review and processing upon approval can take up to 3 weeks.

Update on this, did a quick check and I think my delinking has been completed when I saw I had the "Refer a friend" thing.



Afterwards, to activate fractional shares trading, just search at the search bar for "Fractions" and the options to activate will be there.
IBKR prompted me to update my financial information, which will take up to 24 hours for approval (according to the system message).

Delinking timeline:
(8th July 2021, Thursday) Requested delinking with TSG on at 3pm. E-mailed back by 4pm. Called IBKR for verbal verification at 8pm the same day.
(10th July 2021, Saturday) Delinking completed in the evening.

never had a problem. i think depends which savings account you open. mine was done online, gave me a code then i went next day to get it opened. following day open cimb sg
