QUOTE(moosset @ May 22 2020, 12:06 PM) 1) YES!! 2) US. The bank account is in the US. His address is in the UK. It's like you've a bank account in Singapore, but your address is in M'sia. So when ppl send you money, do they send to M'sia? No.... because the bank account is in S'pore. I am interested to open an account and fund it. From the screenshot only have the routing number and swift code, how would they know it from me and not other customer?

QUOTE(Watta?? @ May 22 2020, 11:42 AM) Hi guys, need a little help with initial funding of my account to get it activated. 1) Is it a must for initial funding to be a minimum of USD1,000 to get it activated? or any small amount will do? 2) Do i wire the funds to New York or London? kinda confusing as they asked to wire to new york, but bank address given is in London I am interested to open an account and fund it. From the screenshot only have the routing number and swift code, how would they know it from me and not other customer?

There's more not shown in the screenshot (understandably since there's private info), the section below it has: i. Bank Account Number - this is a virtual account number to transfer to unique for each of their customer ii. Payment Reference/For Further Credit to - brokerage account code + your name for you to fill in your bank transfer transaction reference box This post has been edited by roarus: May 24 2020, 12:42 AM

Hi all, Just created new IB account through TSG, and currently I'm stuck at this step. Q1: Lets say I'd like to fund USD 1k into the account using Instarem, which options should I go for? (Direct to IB, dont have Sg account) Q2: "Please select the currency in which you would like to make a deposit" Either SGD or EUR or HKD is fine right as long as it is not deposited in USD ? QUOTE(moosset @ May 22 2020, 04:33 PM) Yes they did, for receiving incoming telegraphic transfer! I wrote on the first post already.... the fee is about USD$25. Sorry for your loss but I'm happy to be correct. In Krv23490 case, it's a local bank transfer. Oh btw is the USD25 deposit fee apply to TSG too?

QUOTE(Raymond_ACCA @ May 26 2020, 01:00 PM) Oh btw is the USD25 deposit fee apply to TSG too? This fee is charged by the recipient banks, not TSG or IBKR. TSG & IBKR both have the same bank acc, so I guess yes. However, I've read somewhere that some ppl can transfer without this fee, so I guess it depends on your bank's relationship with IBKR's bank.

QUOTE(moosset @ Mar 22 2020, 11:04 PM) if you use bigpay, move your money via bigpay to your SG bank account, then transfer to IBKR. payment option?? There's no option. Try to google on how to make deposit to IBKR. There should be information there. I think it should technically work but we won't get any answers unless somebody tries it. Just to clarify for bigpay, need go through sg bank first only to ibkr? Or can straight bigpay to ibkr?
