Mind sharing why?

Singapore should be okay, no? I thought it's US persons who are more likely to get rejected due to the FATCA regulation (of course not in this case).

I must be very lucky to open this account in Malaysia.

Hi guys, need a little help with initial funding of my account to get it activated.
1) Is it a must for initial funding to be a minimum of USD1,000 to get it activated? or any small amount will do?
2) Do i wire the funds to New York or London? kinda confusing as they asked to wire to new york, but bank address given is in London

1) YES!!

2) US. The bank account is in the US. His address is in the UK.
It's like you've a bank account in Singapore, but your address is in M'sia. So when ppl send you money, do they send to M'sia? No.... because the bank account is in S'pore. laugh.gif

Because singaporean cannot use IB to buy from SGX. Something about it being govt rules. SO to make their life easier, just blanket everyone with connection to Singapore. biggrin.gif

Yes they did, for receiving incoming telegraphic transfer! I wrote on the first post already.... the fee is about USD$25.
Sorry for your loss but I'm happy to be correct. brows.gif

In Krv23490 case, it's a local bank transfer.

This topic just came up in the Sg telegram group - they are reporting no fees.

I checked IBKR and fees are "dependent on bank".

So i guess if not maybank, this is charged by the intermediary used by Maybank.
