I am looking for a pair of speakers to play music and movie with a notebook in my bed room. After some browsing... seems like S330 is a good choice... but I need ones with remote control. My budget around rm300 plus... Please recommend. Thanks.

got another question
if i buy a 5:1 speaker, for example the edifier r501, how should i mount the rear left and rear right? i mean the cable problem, how long is the cable? if not long enough then how? if i really want to mount the rear speaker, i need approx 20 meter because i want to pull the wire follow the wall to the ceiling, if the wire too long will it have some delay between rear and front speaker? assume that i'm using digital in and out, is the optical cable carry digital signal or analog? i prefer digital
and also my TV only got L and R plug, dont have rear left and rear right or something

I assume Edifier uses the red/black type of cable ? But the given 1 is transparent 1 right ? You can get it at any electronic store i guess.

i'm not sure, i dont own any 5:1 before, the cable i use for my PC speaker is the green jack one.
what is the maximum that the red and black support? does it has any length limitation like our LAN cable for our modem that only support up to 100m

QUOTE(UNDERGROUND @ May 26 2009, 09:54 PM) 20 meter is kinda long Why need such length ? How big is your room anyway ? is living room lar actually, might consider edifier r501 if i got that budget, but the problem is i have to do all the wiring stuff, which is the most headache. i need to route the wire from the back of the TV to the wall and climb all the way up to the ceiling there and go all the way to the back to the speaker there, the main reason is to prevent eyesore of course, if i route it on the floor to the back then when my parents step on the wire sure complain, and when sweeping floor that time also abit hard. the problem is, can i do like this? coz all the speaker have their cable mounted inside already and cannot plug out

High end speakers do not only use green jack. It comes with Black for rear i think then orange for front then green for direct audio. Then like me i use optical out for movies and surround sound. I recommend if u have the budget go for z-5500D logitech + Xonar d2x u wont regret it.
