Got such thing as need to upgrade and pay more then only can get cheaper price for next month ? what if they say upgrade cannot change ?

So in other words ,
Sept and Oct bill should be RM69

RM88-RM69 = 19x2 months = RM38
Then next month need to pay RM99 for upgrade = RM99-RM69 = RM30

Dec bill only RM69

So they cheat every user RM38+RM30 = RM68.

What if those who are still paying RM160 ? it'd be a total of RM212.

TM is really mess up with so many kinds of price for many packages, Unifi TV and promotions. sweat.gif Why not properly set up a single price for each speed package and revise the package every two years if necessary for all new and existing users? People will select speed package according to their affordability or service availability at certain locations. Then it is fair if you want higher speed, please pay more. For promotion, TM always can offer free gift or cash voucher etc. instead mess up with macam macam offer price for macam macam packages.

Anyway, RM69 for Unifi Lite is good move by TM. Thanks for that.

That is the problem, they previously had so many promotion upgrade packages flying around...double up speed bla bla...at the end they could mot cope up and do it for everyone, pity TM customer service has to deal with all the shit complaints. If they market with single standard price for each speed properly, this kind upgrade or not issue not exist. If people want higher speed, they just change plan to pay more for higher speed, that is all, why TM create so much headache? sweat.gif

Yeah, that's true. I wish I could upgrade to TIME Fiber but my house isn't in the coverage. Comparatively, the price for TIME is much cheaper than Unifi.

My monthly charges suddenly became RM38 for Unifi Life 10mbps... weird.

The only thing that I did was to cancel my Ultimate Pack HyppTV subscription

I see, didn't read the thread completely haha. since last month, I have been paying rm69+6% with unifi lite 4mbps.

There was a free upgrade to 8mbps until last month - where i asked for the upgrade from 4mbps to 8mbps, what was weird is that you get 8mbps for years while I cannot. I asked unifi through live chat to ask regarding 8mbps coverage yesterday. Was told that I have to ask tmpoint to confirm and if I were to have the coverage, I can upgrade together with current price.

Definitely ridiculous tho, if there is no coverage haha

Login online what. Unifi website and see your package name and details.

I already paid all until Oct. Gonna ask for rebate later, I did before last year.

After reading all I am sorry I still got confuse about the option we have.

Now my bill is rm69+30unifi TV + St..

Tmlive fucker say unifi TV can't terminate else my plan all gone with my phone number.

Doesn't this mean it a cheat from rm69.


Mine is 4mbps rm13x previously and due to they can't provide me unifi lite 10mbps they upgrade my plan to 8mbps +unifi TV without my knowledge after several complaint.

Then when I found out and call to remove unifi TV they say I can't and must terminate my old plan n reapply...wtf..

Then say after sep will chg to only rm69.. I still need pay 13x in Oct and now latest bill show rm69+30+st.wtf...


What is our real option regarding this?? Unifi TV is juz like paying for something I can get free

As I know for UNIFI LITE ( previously called Streamyx / Speeds from 1 Mbps to 10 Mbps ) and NOT under fully fibre area, UNIFI TV RM 30 /month CAN be removed from Sept 2019.

RM 69 / month is for Internet
RM 30 / month for UNIFI TV ( optional from Sept 2019 )
RM 20 / month for Voice ( optional )

My relative have removed the UNIFI TV in KEDAI last month and saving RM 30 / month.

Quick update about my plan above, for those who having same name as mine.

The TM CS told me (not sure is bluffing or what) the current plan I'm having:
1. Unable to remove Unifi TV / whatever pack in the plan because is bundle
2. Is either you terminate it and sub a new plan RM69.00

but question is new subsriber get RM69.00 also? My area no fibre, only copper line.

Still thinking should i go Unifi Air or not

Tmpoint cannot price cut , need to change to new package , pay RM99 for next month then wait for it to get price cut RM69 next year.
Why need to pay more to get price cut ? more over who guarantee I will get price cut ? it is like a telephone scam type , ask for extra $ then only say next 2 month only can get cheaper price.

Should report about it.

How many of you guys still not getting price cut since Sept bill ? Should gather together to make a report and refund.

I think you go to other tmpoint on other area and ask , some area give different answer.The news clearly said auto migrate to Unifi Lite.
