Test run on unifi air today, using tenda 4G680, max download speed 20mb n upload 10mb.... area sri petaling... if i change modem to huawei, similiar with TM modem, any possibility speed will be better? any speed cap?

I try at my small town near TM Bands 5 tower, get 20/9 also. Using Slink DWR921. I think using B618 will stabil and fast about. Will try test when get B618.
Thinking wanna buy B618 or B525.

It capped at 20mbps in their faq if im not mistaken

Noted, my house not under blue area, so far speed is okay and stable, ill try for 30 days, if okay ill continues my subscription ...

Ic, cap at 20mb, but better than my digi ambassador. not stable during peak hour, from 7pm-12am slow like siput.... 😅

My area not in Unifi Air coverage, but inside TM bands 5.
I'm also will try 2 month see how.

Unifi Air is Data only plan.

Just wan to check,
1. If my house area no fall under blue coverage, recommend to take? (but Unifi Mobile stabil and can up to 50+mbps)
2. Now All TM dont have stock (modem) for this plan?

It's ok. I need to create new apn. Now my phone can use.

Looks like even my house outside coverage, but still got signal . Speed test got around 5mbps (thetering) and 9mbps (from my phone)
Try download, the speed is fluctuate min 300kBsp max 2MBps
Wonder would the speed be faster and stable if I use that b618 modem.

My unifi air review after using it for a month
so far i feel its still better than my streamyx
the speed not so stable especially at peak hours this my testing



for people who wanna register unifi air better test with phone first
cause unifi air support band5/38/40 since i get b618 tm set it already lock band40



for gaming part better stick with streamyx / fibre
unifi air can play dota when solo using the internet for other game i not sure

My home town just have Band 5, so i buy simcard only.

Here my place Unifi Air speedtest using Dlink DWR 921 4G router.
Near TM Bands 5 main tower about 200 meter, can get 20mbps around.
My home 2km far from main tower, 2-10mbps around.
will try it again when i get Huawei D618-65D.
