QUOTE(siang930615 @ Nov 19 2019, 11:56 PM) My unifi air review after using it for a month Nice speed, my streamyx also problem, so i test Unifi Air too.so far i feel its still better than my streamyx the speed not so stable especially at peak hours this my testing for people who wanna register unifi air better test with phone first cause unifi air support band5/38/40 since i get b618 tm set it already lock band40 for gaming part better stick with streamyx / fibre unifi air can play dota when solo using the internet for other game i not sure My home town just have Band 5, so i buy simcard only. Test near TM Bands 5 tower, can get 20mbps around. My home 2km far from tower, 2-10mbps around. still better than my streamyx now. wait to get B618 and will test again. |

QUOTE(terradrive @ Nov 24 2019, 07:53 PM) I'm using Unifi Air in TM Band 5 area, there is still no Band 40 at my place. So my area are out of Unifi Air coverage Area. I'm apply only SIM card and test. I try Unifi Air with Dlink 921 200meter near the Band 5 tower, get 15-20mbps download. My home 2km far away to Tower, get 1-9mbps. This post has been edited by ming0000: Nov 24 2019, 11:14 PM |

I think Unifi Air not sharing CELCOM tower.
It just using Webe tower Band 5 and 40 only. This post has been edited by ming0000: Nov 25 2019, 08:32 PM |

QUOTE(boygenetic @ Nov 26 2019, 08:40 AM) quick question, if only getting the Unifi Air Sim Card, i have to pay RM79, correct? Simcard only RM 79 with no contract, if test line no good, you can cancel it. OR should i just try with #bebas prepaid? feedback appreciated. If with Huawei device, 24 month contract. |
