Their coverage map cacat mia.
They offer me unifi air for my old house, map show blue color, huawei show 4G.
I take the device to another 2 location without coverage, map no color but huawei show get 4G+ and the speed was faster

so far cannot hit 15mbps pun..

Nice speed, my streamyx also problem, so i test Unifi Air too.
My home town just have Band 5, so i buy simcard only.
Test near TM Bands 5 tower, can get 20mbps around.
My home 2km far from tower, 2-10mbps around.
still better than my streamyx now.

Im existing streamyx user, has been called to upgrade my streamyx to unifi air RM79/month since no coverage for regular unifi.
So far the speed is good. Previously with 8mb speed.

if after subscribe to the plan, the speed is weak, can we terminate the plan without penalty?
anyone have experience for it?

 You are able to terminate the unifi Air plan without any penalty in the below scenarios:
I. Proven the LTE network experience based on registered
customer address is very bad or congested.
II. Proven wrong information from our customer service or reseller or agent.
III. Proven there is an element of fraud from our customer service or reseller or agent

But again, remember that there are loophole on those t&c. For eg proven LTE network is bad/congested but how they gonna justify what is consider bad. Totally no internet access or when it fall under certain low speed? It is up to TM to decide so hard to say. The best way is to check coverage and try the prepaid first. Otherwise, it will be troublesome if you have bad experience and bound to the contract.

Normally is easy to sign up and bound to contract but when you try to terminate within contract period, it won't be easy regardless of what ISP or telco you are using. If you are very concern on penalty upon termination, you can sign up the plan without contract that come with sim card only. You need to pay 1 time upfront of 100 which will be used to offset the upcoming bill but make sure you have phone or sim card supported router that support band 5, 38 and 40

I just subscribed sim only to try out the UNIFI air in my house. Been using Digi i150 as my home internet.
Surprisingly, it achieved 80mbps in my B618.
Last time I used UNIFI mobile only can get less than 10mbps in the same modem.

But there is a downside.. the upload speed is less then 5mbps.. guess need to use some more times to check its stability.

Yea...the B310 is giving download, but only if i locked it to B38.
No B5 supported, but I doubt it will be better than B38 @ 40Mbps (average). Same observed on B40.
But I'm ok with the download speed.

Main pain is the upload, average about 2-3Mbps. But if this is the best that Unifi Air gives for upload, then no point to upgrade the box to B818.
