Edit.. i.m going to test my ewallet once more for this month. I did not get my CB for last month but TNG app is listed.

New test;
Just reloaded rm200 + rm100 from TNG now. No OTP sent.
Removed my card and added back. Reloaded rm50. No OTP sent except for the rm1 verification OTP


There is also a PlanB if this fails.. Shopee sells the TNG reload PIN.... But.... For rm50 reload u pay RM51 or RM51.50. .. like 3% gone there..
If use shopback can get back 1%. Not so fantastic rebate but at least something if TNG app fails.

Nope, u won't get anything from Shopback because TNG reload pin is in Tickets and Voucher category. I didn't earn anything. It's stated as tracked in Shopback but would be rejected upon confirmation. Based on my observation.

It was told that cb will only be awarded for transactions with OTP

So those Boost wallet topup without OTP...

As shared, you can force OTP out from Boost.
Reload RM 600 in once, OTP will be triggered.

Anyway I saw a post mentioning BOOST APP SSL-EC KUALA LUMPUR MY eventhough without OTP still quals for cb

Hopefully so when I get my statement next month!

Many overseas merchants don't require OTP. So these would not qualify for cash back with PBB then

Ya lesson learnt and unfortunately my BP was blocked for suspected fraud last week pending for new card

Anyway, hopefully what you said for BOOST APP SSL-EC KUALA LUMPUR MY is still applicable

A lot of online sites do not require OTP verification, especially Taobao and US sites.

You may use Quantum Visa for Taobao, you may get 5% Departmental CB for some Taobao transactions (Payment to Taobao London GB)

note that there are some TNG Reload PIN types that can only be applied once in the life of an account , so you risk ending up with a useless piece of paper

Reading from few pages it seems most ppl cancel the visa when receive cards for Quantum. What's so special about the Quantum Mastercard? New to PBB card and thinking to get either 1 of this.

quantum visa = entertainment & departmental category cashback
quantum mastercard = online & dining category cashback

the "online" is flexible for those frequent spending online or utilize bigpay -> other spending

I applied PBB credit card with RinggitPlus last Friday. Can anyone share the experience, how long will get the decision from the bank whether the application is approved or not?
