Silly question: If my card is expiring soon, will Public Bank contact me to offer replacement cards, do I have to apply for new cards myself?

they will send to u automatically

They should automatically send you the replacement credit cards (not sure on new debit card) just before expiry month, unless you fail in annual review.

I hope they'd do that, such as hassle to go back to paying with cash.

Let's hope you're right, mine is expiring literally next month.

I'm thinking of using myeg to pay the balance after payonline closed down. Either credit card or lifestyle debit.

Tested the other day and there is a $2 commission. Didn't proceed since I want to ask here.

if i use an unpaid dbkl account, the [pay/bayar] appear

Public Bank not always send sms alert for credit card usage? So far I only received one sms for my first usage at Petrol station. The rest in retail don't receive any.

The trigger value is RM 500 if I remembered correctly.

I remembered that I did not tick alert amount. It stated that if no tick, sms alert will be sent out based on default amount. I think the default amount maybe RM200 because the petrol statioln terminal auto charge RM200 for authoritied pump. The rest I spent all less than RM200.

1st usage always get sms. call cs to set your preferred amount
