just ask merchant to split 10k n 4k transaction

Why need to split? If he prepay 4k, the whole transaction should be able to go through. If he didn't prepay, split also no use. Only 10k can go through. 2nd 4k will fail.

Sometimes they requested for a call while sometimes they don't. I've always rang them up just to play it safe.

Does anyone know if PB will ever automatically increase credit limit for their users? I've been using for about 3 years and never missed a single payment, so I was surprised they didn't ask if I wanted a credit increase... I heard other banks do that sometimes to loyal customers who are also good paymasters.

No, but when I upgraded to VI/WMC last time, they auto-increased my CL.

They never gave me when I requested for my VS and Quantum cards (despite submitting documents etc), but significant increase when I went to Visa Infinite and then another big jump for WMC.

I guess I gotta do the same too.

Yes need to. I monitored for a few days after i hit the RM 300 spent but nothing was reflected, then once I gave the the call, rebate was reflected the next day.

OK, I will do it too. Mine also more than 2 weeks but still nothing. I thought of waiting to see if it will reflect in the next statement, I guess I better find time to call them.

He told me right now has this "promotion" which spend RM500 anywhere and call them back and get rebate (include e-wallet) :\

Mine is 300, excluding e-wallet, and I didn't know insurance is not included. So, I used it to pay my car insurance at the end of June, but so far, there's no SST rebate, so I called last week and was told insurance is also excluded. So, now I need to spend another RM 300 in a week to get RM 25.
