they put our monthly flexipay amount into monthly instalment column of ccris. might hav some impact on monthly DSR |

seem like this round delayed for quite sometimes still no new 0% flexipay campaign for visa card yet.
come on PBB, your competitor banks (eg. Affin,Maybank,RHB etc..) are even offering 0% BT or 0% cash plan. |

Called Public Bank CS on this scenario and they mentioned it can be done. But just wanted to see if anyone else has experience on this: If my card has 10k limit and I want to swipe 14k, is it possible to pay an additional 4k+ to the card first to allow the transaction to go through? lovelyuser and jimbet1337 liked this post

But just wanted to see if anyone else has experience on this: yes, because technically your available limit is 14k after doing that. If my card has 10k limit and I want to swipe 14k, is it possible to pay an additional 4k+ to the card first to allow the transaction to go through? Also, some banks even if 10k limit will allow the 14k transaction to go through, just that you will kena an over-limit charge/penalty.. another way to do it is to request for temp credit limit increase of 4k. That way you dont have to fork out your own 4k first.. But this one is subject to approval and takes 1~3 business days for the temp CL increase to go through.. Obviously this only works if you planned ahead of the purchase though.. jimbet1337 liked this post

But just wanted to see if anyone else has experience on this: think of it this way, in terms of RISK exposureIf my card has 10k limit and I want to swipe 14k, is it possible to pay an additional 4k+ to the card first to allow the transaction to go through? 10k credit limit is a credit facility given by the bank, assigned to you individually (aka bank bear the risk) additional 4k pre-payment is from you (bank lose nothing, no risk to bear) the moment you spend 14k, bank still bear 10k risk only. the 4k already pre-paid by you, in advance. sjz liked this post
