I just recalled QV paywave need to be > RM 30. :x

I did a few transactions < RM 30 then only I realised something is abit off.

Here's what i did. I wrote the word Paywave >30 using marker pen on its back side

some noob questions here, for mastercard quantum contactless payment, do i need to inform the customer service? or it will be automatic once you receive your card?

i thought it was auto and i changed my card once coz couldnt do the contactless payment. As the customer service said the card may be faulty

now got the 2nd card and tried again but can't also....

1st transaction must be pin-based.

then there are limits:

1) rm250 per contactless transaction
2) cumulative rm500 contactless transaction amount or 9 times, whichever earlier -- then reset with PIN again

That why i don’t receive the cash rebate,need transaction more than rm30,thanks for the information.

What cash rebate haven't received yet? This public bank quantum visa card payment above RM30 using contactless paywave to get cashback card benefit only started this month, 1st September.

But for those with statement date 6 Sep, for example, will get their cash rebate for paywave transactions already.

Ah that's why. My bad, 6 sept must more earlier to most of us.

Previously, there is no issue to get my VS & QMC SST rebate from BP spending.

Today CS told me BP is excluded for 500-spending to get SST rebate. Is anyone also the same?

For qv card have chance to get 5% discount if purchase more than RM 500 in single receipt.If i request change to 0% quantum installment still able to get 5% discount?

Doesn't seems to have the 'flexipay' excluded in the contactless transaction exclusion list. So should be getting 5% discount.

I just made a purchase in lulu Hypermarket last Thursday but the amount just around rm20,but confusing why the receipt without any ‘contactless’ word and no receive rebate in this month statement. Then i get the answer from ur post and thanks for the sharing. Really dont know the transaction need to be more than rm30.

Oops, I missed out the post stating that public bank is revising the VIP point redemption. Another devaluation of points from bank... oh well.

When I first signed up for PBB Quantum Visa last year, the CB was as follows: 5% Cash Back on Entertainment & Departmental Stores transactions.

Seems like it has changed to all contactless payment? Means using the paywave function ah. If so I can keep my MBB Barcelona edi if weekday purchase

Use PB QV only if your purchase is 30 & above. Otherwise, use FCB below 30. For example, if you are dinning alone at McD, you won’t order 30 or above of food just because you want to get the 5% from QV right? Haha

There's no way I could do online right? Don't see the option to do the redemption in pbe.
