Hi guys, under PBB merchant which is consider retail purchase? For e.g. I know grocery, petrol is consider retail purchase...other than those which are retail purchase? Is paying daycare fee considered retail purchase?

Most of them are retail transactions except those under exclusion lists.

Just got my Quantum cards yesterday and instantly cancelled the QV card, later only to read about the changes on Sep 1st (the CS didn't inform me about it). But on second thought, I can get indirect CB if I use QMC to top up BigPay so all is still well. Lol

Lol you can get RM60 total instead of RM30.

If you cancel quantum visa card yesterday, can still call back bank to request to stop the cancellation of the quantum visa card. Its a RM30 (QV) + RM30 (QMC) cashback

CS has no obligation to upsell you

some may think QMC quota is not enough, so QV for contactless is a blessing (spending anywhere that accept wave). this frees up your QMC quota in bigpay for other non-wave transactions.

True, but I have rarely spent above QMC limit. Those larger amounts are loans which cannot be paid using CC. Hopefully I don't regret it

You can use QM to topup Bigpay RM600 and withdraw (cost RM6)
RM30 - RM6 = RM24 net gain.
