hey danny,

no stupid question la.. i also still learning and asking my boss bout Cash one.

Cash one is new product.
YES, u have to have a SCB credit card for cash one, and more than 6 mths , if less than that, u will only get 40% of the credit limit

actually, the loan we take from ur credit card limit..lets say ur c/c limit = 50k .. minus the outstanding 10k(if any) = 40k available balance, so u can take out the 40k and convert it as personal loan, so u pay low interest compared to c/c interest rate . so once the credit limit used as ur personal loan, so available balance in ur c/c = 0

cannot use the card when the balance is zero ,,,BUT, everytime u pay the installment, the limit increase in ur c/c ... lets say u pay ur first mth installment for u personal loan, = Rm 1000 , so from zero, ur credit card limit increase to rm 1000, now can use alredi la..

u can apply any product, see which one suits ur need and can go thru la.. even if u got scb c/c and only available balance 6k, but u want 10k, of course i wont suggest cash one.

more info, u can check @ SCB website. anything wanna ask can sms me la.. i can call u back

Thanks

@benjamin,
some correction for your credit limit terms.

it's not credit limit increase when u paid for the installment. the credit limit will always remain 50k unless bank offer or owner apply.

it should be the available limit of the credit card.

i'm working under price solution standard chartered.our bank is offering quick cash personal loan up to RM150K,without collateral, guarantor and processing fee.no early settlement penalty charge after 6 months.lowest interest rate at 0.6% per month (8% per annum).

u still can consider whether to take up the loan after its approval(30 days to consider).tenure can be chosen from 12,24,36,48 or 60 months of repayment.easy application that our bank only need choose 1 type of your financial document (Credit Card, Insurance Policy, Mortgage Loan agreement or Salary slip/bank statement)

no restriction on how u gonna spend the loan amount of money.1st stage approval result in 4 hours upon submission and another 3 days for 2nd stage approval.which means 4-5 working days to get ur result.

Fully minus interest amount when u do a full settlement.(which means u only clear up ur principle loan, interest charge will be rebated back to customer) without penalty.

lower interest rate than 8% can be appealed upon loan approval when you make a call to our customer service for rate reduction(provided you have a good repayment history towards ur credit cards or loans towards other banks)

not as advertise as 0.63 per month

what's the meaning of flat rate and effective rate?

just start working this year? haha...no way la, not so easy.

age is a HUGE factor, no matter how high your income is especially you just start working.

even though there's a bank approve, they won't straight away grant you a loan which is 4 times of your monthly income.

cash 1's interest rate is flat but not 0.63% p/mth..

0.63% is Quick Cash Edge ( QCE)

the interest depends on how much loan u apply ...
100k+ > can get 8.5%

interest rate depends on ur risk level, other banks also same la.. some banks gives the interest based on the loan amount... some based on risk level..the rest im not sure

employment factor.... atleast 6 -12 mths employed .

banks giving money of coz they check so many things..cannot simply give.. later they call 'ahlong'

mintak ah long one,, the credit record burst type... ccris prob.. ctos.. very high commitments..

u just hold on for a year, then u apply la.. sure can go.. but now u got credit card edy. be a gud paymaster, pay on time eventho if u're paying min pmt every mth..
thats why the banks ask for min 1 year c/c . they want to check the payment behavior.

Depends on the T&C that the bank you loan. But normally no interest charge, just penalty for early settlement like 200 or 3% of the remaining principle.

Different bank is different.

Some bank will charge you a small fee of penalty (like RM50 or lesser). Most bank requires you to pay at least 4 months of interest, while if you early settlement, then of coz the rest of the months won't be charge interest

SCB - no penalty charges
u take 10k, after 6 mths want to settle, just inform the bank 1 month earlier, and settle the remaining principle balance.. without any interest for the balance.

gud what....hehehe smile.gif
