hi there, looking for loan around 4-5k urgently... any1 know which bank or agent can provide da loan within 2-3 day? by da way... my current salary 1.6k start working for 2 month (salary raising start from 4th month once i have bcome a confirm staff) n estimate loan repayment period 2 yr... currently not holding any credit card nor other loan... any 1 pls help... kinda urgent to get da loan b4 thursday.... its there possible?

it depends. 5 times is for normal company.
if one is working in PCL company, he can go up to 6 times.

if average cc < 45k, only can loan exactly that amount.
if average cc > 45k, one can loan up to 5 times or 100k whichever lower.

Hi all, can someone explain what is the difference between flat interest rate, standard interest rate and effective interest rate? I tried to read up on Wikipedia and got very confused

For example, a loan was offered with a preferential interest rate of flat 0.75% per month for the duration of the loan tenure (effective rate from 15.74% p.a to 16.44% p.a), otherwise the standard interest rate is flat 1% per month for the duration of the loan tenure (effective rate from 20.33% p.a to 21.58% p.a depending on the loan tenure).

my friend is thinking of applying for personal loan. currently, he has credit cards from maybank CL 50k, mbf CL 50k, cimb CL 20k and cimb islamic CL 25k. his income is 25k gross after deduction around 17k + nett.

how much can he get roughly and which bank best rate? and he has no car loan / housing loan at the moment.

my friend working in OCBC can get u 5.5% if i'm not mistaken

as i checked wif OCBC, u only eligible for tat 5.5% if ur employer agreed to deduct the installment thru ur monthly salary, if im not mistaken la..

stanchart allows you to have 3 months period to "think" whether you would want to accept their offer for the personal loan upon approval. how about other banks? is this common practice? or most banks will disburse immediately upon approval?

not sure bout other banks... need to check..
