QUOTE(roy918 @ Mar 30 2010, 01:03 AM) There is no such rule to get Islamic financing loan. Thanks ,Did you ever defaulted any repayment (credit card, hire purchase or any loan)? No , so far I didn't do any loans with banks , no credit card (maybank don't want to give me ). Unless samans or something to do with my motorbike that could cause this . |

QUOTE(nujikabane @ Mar 30 2010, 01:16 AM) In your case, it's most probably because you have not had any records before, thus making them a lil uncomfortable granting you loan. Damn....like that means I have to apply credit cards and use it for the future when I need housing loans etc ? Usually the bank would see previous repayment, checking the manner in which loan were paid, on time or not, etc. The logic is this: If you take up car loan & you defaulted, banks can reposses your car. If you take up housing loan, banks can sell the house & take back their money. But since in PL, it is usually without collateral, thus the banks are more cautious if giving out PL. |

QUOTE(affable @ Apr 2 2010, 10:16 AM) Hi GHoss, Thanks Hafiz ,its true, banks will want to look at your credit reference but if there's none, than sorry to say you can't buddy. If you're a degree holder and working in a listed company then Al-Rajhi will consider. If you're really in need of money why don't just apply for a credit card cause since you've tried cimb with a rate of 24% per annum, then credit card won't be any different cause their interest is only 17.5% per annum (quoting the highest). If you wanna Al-Rajhi out feel free to pm me.... THanks. Regards, Hafiz Noor : ) But I don't think I can use Al-Rajhi , not in a public listed company. I applied CIMB credit card , don't know can get or not . I tried Maybank but they didn't give me . Any other banks credit card is easier to get ? Am Bank ? |

I try Personal Loan from RHB / CIMB / Standard Charted = All rejected
Probably is because I don't have any records with the banks thus they consider me as high risk. I manage to get a CIMB credit card tho. My pay is 1.7k but cannot get a 4k PL also |

QUOTE(work_tgr @ Dec 1 2010, 06:36 PM) To benjamin_haykael, It's hard to get a PL I tried RHB / CIMB both also rejected.Today I made a call to Maybank to ask about the progress of personal loan application. Unfortunately, it was not approved. I felt deperate because I urgently need money. In my case, do I still have the chance to get personal loan from other bank like RHB ? RHB has a very bad customer service in my experience . You should try CIMB |
