ya... that's why i register it again so that the warranty date adjust to date it arrived at my doorstep.
Initially it was shown starts at 21st Dec, after i did the registration now it's reflected to 29th Dec.
This would be fair if your delivery lead time which might took more than 1 month.

Before i made the purchase, customer service already made clear to me
Lenovo will only start charging(assume credit card payment) once notebook delivered to customer but this does not apply to installment plan.
Warranty will only start once notebook delivered to customer.

Wah even longer.
You should be getting at most by this month.

Did you chat with the customer service? Chat with them, email is less effective in my experience.

Sorry Im new to Lenovo, mind to tell me what is the different between let say T14 (AMD) and L14 (AMD)? What is the different between T and L? I saw L is slightly cheaper.

In a broad sense, for the Thinkpad series -> X > T > L > E, in terms of specs, build and quality. Though quality wise they are differentiated by the magnesium alloy and carbon fibre casing.

X being the lightest, followed by T, and E being the heaviest. L is in between T and E. T is typically the business class laptop (which it is famous for). X being the ultraportable version of the T series. For upgradability, T series is the one.

If you are choosing ThinkPad, choose either X or T series.

Hi sifus, I'm back again, this time reporting about a crash on my 3 day old Legion 5 15 AMD. I was studying on a PDF, left it on sleep and plugged in before heading for dinner just now. Once I came back I opened it up and it tells me Windows has updated language service, I proceed to unlock it and press Google Chrome and it has stayed frozen for 30 mins or so. Trackpad doesn't work, keyboard doesn't work, only holding the power button for a force restart works. Any solutions/suggestions? This is a custom order with Ryzen 5 4600H, 1650Ti, 16GB ram, 512 SSD and 80wh.....did not expect it to run into problems. I have not played a single game on it, and I haven't used it more than 10hrs since unboxing.

Ordered on 14th December as shown. Deducted my debit card the same day. But today I found out that Lenovo refunded my payment. But status on OVP remains as shown. Even robot chat says the same. Hmmm...

Update: Emailed for cancellation. Lets see what happen next. Since already refunded I am not that concerned.

Oh man.. after a few weeks of waiting, that is frustrating.
I paid for my purchase using a credit card, they said they authorize that payment immediately, but the transaction not yet appears in my bank statement after a week.
I really hope it won't fail. Really need that pc quick, but getting it within two months seems to be really good already according to other's experience.
The current expected date for it to be shipped is 11 Jan, still have some hopes, fingers crossed.

Actually you don't need to worry on the payment. Once you ordered, your credit card will charged for the amount and show pending. Then it will disappear when you check again few days later. After that they will charge again and pending. It will process about 3-4 times like this until your laptop shipped, then they will charge you on the same day. Hope this help.

Since I use debit card so I am not sure either the process is the same as credit card. The word refunded makes it strange and sounds final, and I thought the purchase is cancelled. sweat.gif

Alamak, meaning that it is possible for it to be extended. sweat.gif
They changed the date before the deadline reached or on/after that day?
For your case, 3 months just for it to be shipped out, that is tooooo long.

Mine initially to be shipped out on 12Jan2021,
then changed to 31stDec2020,
then changed to 11Jan2021.
Finally they shipped it out on 31stDec2020

Unpredictable their shipping plan, i'm too lazy to contact CS. By the way, i ordered on 11/11

I think lappies, especially those with high end AMD processors will experience delay due to shortages. I think we have to be patient unfortunately :-(

Those who waited so long, then they cancel...thats really shitty.

Any codes that still work and give good discount?
Planning to buy soon (T14 AMD)
BIGSALE code was the best but it's now expired
Got other codes but less discount
