My Thinkbook just arrived, first time purchased direct from Lenovo. Ordered on 6 May and arrived 17 May 2025.

Lenovo's estimated delivery is ok. The parcel travelled from Chongqing > Zhengzhou > Incheon > Shenzen > Samutprakarn > Shah Alam > Sepang and back to Shah Alam.
Custom clearances overseas were fast but it took UPS Malaysia 3 days to clear the customs, which causes overshoot from the delivery estimate.

After all these years, UPS (Malaysia) still hasn't improved. Haih.

I also ordered a customized laptop from Lenovo Malaysia Official Web site on 12 May, made in ChongQing also.
Laptop seems "Start building" on 13th May cause I ordered late night.
Ready by 16 (I guess) cause UPS got label on 16th

Today finally got update and scared me... got bunch of emails and general status says "Delayed"

In one day...
It just so confuse where on 9.35 it says "RELEASED" then they click 6 more "PENDING TO RELEASE"... wt...fish.
I know my customer like "Double clickssssssssss", didn't know UPS staff also like triple, quadruple and multiple clicksssss....
Or Lenovo want to Suprise me by give me 6 parcels in parts... thats why need 6 "release" hahaha...

Anyway, I hope I'll be same like you @overfloe, next day they can start delivery, but mine at Ipoh, hopefully no more delay, as Lenovo promised 6-9 days suppose to be received on 21th.

Lenovo... even you use DHL eCOmmerce delivery I also accept it... UPS.... my god!, last time with other laptop from US (Gigabytes via Newegg) also give me headache, after years UPS except making the web site looks worst, delivery still that "funny" and 猜不透.

That's interesting—my experience has been quite different. We've used Dell and HP for many years in the past, and in our case, they tended to have more issues compared to Lenovo.

With Lenovo, things have been much smoother for us, especially since we always go with the Premier Onsite Warranty instead of the standard one. The RMA process has been straightforward—they’ve never rejected a claim, usually just request a few photos, and consistently send someone over by the next working day.

Not to mention, Lenovo has consistently been more affordable. And now that they’ve introduced Lenovo Rewards—something other brands don’t offer—it adds even more value. Honestly, it's hard to justify switching to other brands that don’t reward loyalty.

So how long did you have to wait till you got it?

Mine is supposed to be delivered tomorrow but it's still in customs. Not sure if it has anything to do with the laptop customization.
