The laptop model I'm planning to get is not yet available in any of the physical stores, and there's a discount from the Lenovo website. I'm wondering if anyone has experience buying it directly from the Lenovo Malaysia website?

Did it take long? Any issues?

Found some bad reviews but almost a year ago. Wonder if they have improved

Long waiting time (usually 2 or more weeks)

Buyer needs to do some unnecessary things (eg send proof of transaction, send reminder on import license issue)

If you don't mind all these then yes, you can buy from them

because im near KL, and the warehouse at shah alam, i receive the computers very fast, maybe

nowadays buy ThinkCentre M720 Tower for companies that want cheap and reliable computers

Ah no wonder. Business grade desktop+bulk order sure will deliver fast

It just takes time especially if you have customized your laptop. Apart from that , you'll get the bag/mouse first followed by your laptop

if you buy 1 unit and without any modification, just the basic unit, you can get it fast too, if you stay near KL.

have you tried lenovo flagship store in lazada ? they are fast too

Bought a prebuilt Ideapad S540 (no customization)...say 'ships in 5 business days', 5 business days had passed still not shipped yet

Lazada store has limited options (latest models not available)

either continue wait, or live chat with them

I bought a X1 Carbon before. Took about 2 weeks.
After sent and reach Malaysia, Lenovo forgot to give import license, so it got stuck at customs..
The laptop takes about 1-2 weeks to build , shipping process is fast, but you just had to take note of import license issue.

Would suggest you wait it out. if its not available yet in physical stores means that if you have any problems after purchasing it online, you're probably shit out of luck to get a replacement quickly.

Ordered my customised Thinkpad on 31 March. Arrived in KLIA on 3rd April. Delivered to house on 7th April. Hope this helps. Pax.

got mine around 15 days, packaging is okay no problems at all.

I bought the intel version one, it is roughly rm3345 after the discount.
