Just found this topic after I made an order through their website yesterday. During the purchase, it was mentioned that it will be shipped within 2 weeks.
Then just realised that 2 weeks is just for them to ship, the delivery period is another story sweat.gif
Hopefully, it won't take much longer than that.

2 week + shipping is nothing.
there are people here waiting for 6-8 weeks +shipping.

Oh mannnn.. I bought a ThinkPad in 2018, they delivered it slightly over 2 weeks.
It seems that I was really lucky back then.
Moreover this time I ordered a desktop, which is expectedly harder to be handled compared to a laptop.

Is there any significant difference between "Onsite Support" and "Premier Onsite Support" other than prioritized and faster? The difference in price is very big.

main difference is premier includes software troubleshooting and repair as well.
on top of that, when you have issue they attend to you next working day.

I am already used to wait for few days to receive repairing assistance, so not sure it is worthy to have that big addition to the price.

But, yeah, I can see the main difference here is the hardware and software comprehensive troubleshooting. I am uncertain about software troubleshooting, but for hardware here, does it mean that for non-premier, we need to pay for the spare part, and premier the part is free? The explanation is not really clear.

What the fuck is wrong with Lenovo
The promised shipped out date is within 8 weeks. But when I emailed them, they can't even promise the 14 February 2021 is a confirmed shipped out date

Previous delivery date was on 31 December 2020 doh.gif

Dayumm.
When did you make the order? Early November?

Ordered on 14th December as shown. Deducted my debit card the same day. But today I found out that Lenovo refunded my payment. But status on OVP remains as shown. Even robot chat says the same. Hmmm...

Update: Emailed for cancellation. Lets see what happen next. Since already refunded I am not that concerned.

Oh man.. after a few weeks of waiting, that is frustrating.
I paid for my purchase using a credit card, they said they authorize that payment immediately, but the transaction not yet appears in my bank statement after a week.
I really hope it won't fail. Really need that pc quick, but getting it within two months seems to be really good already according to other's experience.
The current expected date for it to be shipped is 11 Jan, still have some hopes, fingers crossed.

Lucky you. I ordered on 11 November 2020, expected shipped date changed from 31 December 2020 to 14 February 2021 doh.gif
*
Alamak, meaning that it is possible for it to be extended. sweat.gif
They changed the date before the deadline reached or on/after that day?
For your case, 3 months just for it to be shipped out, that is tooooo long.

Any codes that still work and give good discount?
Planning to buy soon (T14 AMD)
BIGSALE code was the best but it's now expired
Got other codes but less discount

Mine initially to be shipped out on 12Jan2021,
then changed to 31stDec2020,
then changed to 11Jan2021.
Finally they shipped it out on 31stDec2020

Unpredictable their shipping plan, i'm too lazy to contact CS. By the way, i ordered on 11/11

I think lappies, especially those with high end AMD processors will experience delay due to shortages. I think we have to be patient unfortunately :-(

Those who waited so long, then they cancel...thats really shitty.
*
If looking from the bright side, your order was shipped earlier than the initial expected date. Good for you. Usually it takes between 1-2weeks to arrive after it being shipped I guess?

I ordered on 26Dec, much recent compared to you guys. It was mentioned on the site it takes up to 2weeks for it to be shipped, I hope they honour it. But still, just need to wait patiently for now and prepare to expect for the worse to happen. :-(

unfortunately that code doesnt seem to work for the T14 (base spec)
it actually makes it more expensive somehow

I think the discount is too large so its not valid for this device
*
I managed to apply the code for my purchase which is quite expensive, so, I don't think it depends on the product you want to buy.

Perhaps you can try to chat with their agent, and ask them if there is any nice promo code you can use. The agent will ask you to put your order in the cart first and provide them with the order number. I tried it before, the offer I got actually not bad, forgot how much.

Update: Just realised T14 is already on sale, FRONTLINER code will cancel the sale, and apply its discount which is lesser than the original sale. THINKSAVE however can be stacked with that sale. Looks like a good deal!

Did you use the deal or the promo codes to get 4.5% cashback?
*
For the 4.5% cashback I just simply open Lenovo website via ShopBack website and do the purchasing.
After a day or two, they automatically give you 4.5% into your ShopBack account, but can only withdraw it after 2-3 months.

Can I upgrade the ram myself to 32GB?

Thanks!

Regarding the RAM upgrade, someone has successfully done it on that model with 16GBx2.

Thanks mate. I am really enjoying it.
Yours is possible to get earlier than that. Mine stuck for two days at custom due to the documentation process in the weekend.
They are not operating at the weekend I think.
