To clarify, it's for authorization. Mainly for credit card. You don't have to change credit limit since it already reserve the required amount in ur account, when shipped only it will be charged

Which is why debit card is not supported, since it will keep charging the same amount until ur transaction limit reached

Then I call again, inquired why is it cancelled then the order status change to onhold. 2 hours later, received an email "We have been unsuccessful in receiving an authorisation from your card. You may have exceeded your credit limit or your issuing bank might have blocked the transaction for security reasons. Please note we will attempt to reprocess your card payment over the next 5 working days, if payment remains unsuccessful - we will cancel your order.". Contacted bank said credit onhold on 23rd August 2021 (the day i make the purchase). So it should not have problem for the payment unless they charge me new transaction, then really exceed my card limit. Till end of the day no call from them and 5 working days is from when?

Got my laptop today, was going thru the payment issue with my debit card. Decided to call customer service after 2nd charging on my debit card. Request to change to direct deposit instead and the CS is kind enough to help me up as well as to expedite my shipment date. From initial estimate delivery date 30 Nov to delivered by today 26 Aug (less than 4 weeks).

If there is payment issue just contact the customer not directly cancel the order.

If i am not wrong once authorized it will hold the credit for 5 days or more (that is they do not charge it directly).. Then I have no choice but to ask the bank to increase the credit limit temporary, not sure the bank will allow it or not. If they hold the credit again for the second time, rclxub.gif bangwall.gif

I think the cash and credit card payment is different department, there is a risk they might charge you both side due to delay / miscommunication sweat.gif sweat.gif And that brick sweat.gif

mine is they hold and charge again. bangwall.gif get the credit limit problem. is better you call them check the status

increasing credit card limit is not possible bangwall.gif And the credit hold up will be release after 7 days..

Buying from Lenovo website definitely gives me not-so-pleasant experience. Their payment system is one of the oddest things I have ever seen in my life. Lenovo charged my card and held the charge until the bank fed up just released back the fund to me while the order is still being processed. I could potentially get my Lenovo laptop for free since the item was shipped without charging me back. 😱😱😱

yesterday i still can see my expected ship with 24 Sep but today become blank , and lenovo email me back that still good in order with normal condition , fxxk him and really bad experience with lenovo online purchase system. suka suka hati tukar this and that.
