I ordered Legion 7 back in last Wednesday payment using Credit card
My credit limit updated (hold) immediately after key in the OTP
But i noticed my online bankin that the credit limit updated back , no charge, no hold of credit limit, is that normal?

Anyone know how to contact SEA Web Payments by phone call? The payment service is just terrible

23rd August 2021 : Make the purchase and received notification from bank of the transaction (credit on hold) and peripheral is mail out

25th October 2021 : Notice the delivery status "Your order is currently on hold due to credit issue". Send an email to seapayments@lenovo.com to inquiry about it.

26th August 2021 : Contacted 1800-88-5266 to find out the problem and was informed the "SEA Web Payments" will contact me within today. 1 hour later received an email the order is cancelled. Then I call again, inquired why is it cancelled then the order status change to onhold. 2 hours later, received an email "We have been unsuccessful in receiving an authorisation from your card. You may have exceeded your credit limit or your issuing bank might have blocked the transaction for security reasons. Please note we will attempt to reprocess your card payment over the next 5 working days, if payment remains unsuccessful - we will cancel your order.". Contacted bank said credit onhold on 23rd August 2021 (the day i make the purchase). So it should not have problem for the payment unless they charge me new transaction, then really exceed my card limit. Till end of the day no call from them and 5 working days is from when?

Oh yes, Lenovo direct website online ordering is really a pain in the butt. They really need to sort it out but then they don't bother. What you guys described is normal and yes their support for enquiry through email and phone really are terrible. Prepare for a stressful days if you guys want to communicate with them. I knew because I deal with them for my brother's Legion 5 2021 purchase recently.

What will happen is they will charge you multiple time and also refund you multiple time and will told you the order is cancelled or something like that when it involve your card limit. This will happen multiple time until your purchase is shipped. If you contact them usually their support will reply robotically like they have some sort of script prepared or pass your problem around. Just endure it if you can biggrin.gif

For what it's worth when we recieved the order, the item is fantastic and build quality is great. Also the discount is really massive if you got codes to use.
Legion 5 2021 with Ryzen 5600H and RTX 3060 is bought around RM39XX (with discount) when other brand with almost the same spec cost RM5000 upwards.

To clarify, it's for authorization. Mainly for credit card. You don't have to change credit limit since it already reserve the required amount in ur account, when shipped only it will be charged

Which is why debit card is not supported, since it will keep charging the same amount until ur transaction limit reached

That is another norm for them.
As for my experience and some others usually it won't be that late. Your order could be shipped anytime soon from now. That few months estimate on their website is meaningless for you to keep checking at.

My suggestion is just keep tab on it once in a while like a week or two. Checking on the order regularly would just stress you out.
