Anyone know how to contact SEA Web Payments by phone call? The payment service is just terrible

23rd August 2021 : Make the purchase and received notification from bank of the transaction (credit on hold) and peripheral is mail out

25th October 2021 : Notice the delivery status "Your order is currently on hold due to credit issue". Send an email to seapayments@lenovo.com to inquiry about it.

26th August 2021 : Contacted 1800-88-5266 to find out the problem and was informed the "SEA Web Payments" will contact me within today. 1 hour later received an email the order is cancelled. Then I call again, inquired why is it cancelled then the order status change to onhold. 2 hours later, received an email "We have been unsuccessful in receiving an authorisation from your card. You may have exceeded your credit limit or your issuing bank might have blocked the transaction for security reasons. Please note we will attempt to reprocess your card payment over the next 5 working days, if payment remains unsuccessful - we will cancel your order.". Contacted bank said credit onhold on 23rd August 2021 (the day i make the purchase). So it should not have problem for the payment unless they charge me new transaction, then really exceed my card limit. Till end of the day no call from them and 5 working days is from when?

If there is payment issue just contact the customer not directly cancel the order.

If i am not wrong once authorized it will hold the credit for 5 days or more (that is they do not charge it directly).. Then I have no choice but to ask the bank to increase the credit limit temporary, not sure the bank will allow it or not. If they hold the credit again for the second time,

I think the cash and credit card payment is different department, there is a risk they might charge you both side due to delay / miscommunication And that brick

mine is they hold and charge again. get the credit limit problem. is better you call them check the status

increasing credit card limit is not possible And the credit hold up will be release after 7 days..

When you you actually send the email , months after order date or more? and to which email?

to be safe.. make your remaining credit limit is at least twice the amount of your laptop.. mine got charge hold on Monday and Wednesday got charge hold without releasing the previous hold and exceed the credit limit..

Have you or anyone filed a complain to Lenovo? Or just accepted it.

thanks. I have reported to lenovo since is still under warranty and the wifi card should be Intel according to the purchase detail.

I want to ask anyone having problem with the wifi card and manage to solve it? I have turn off the "Auto Turn Off" but connection is not stable. Connect and disconnect.

Reported to Lenovo, since they gave me different wifi card and their reply is "the machine that you have purchased was supposed to come with Mediatek wifi card and not Intel wifi card as published."

Gave 2 options ,
1. Full refund
2. 5% discount.

Full refund probably I will be paying more for next purchase..

Is changing Wifi card easy? will it void the warranty?
From Lazada, Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 11AX is selling around RM100..installation is the risky part..

Frequent disconnect is .. Even when the lenovo support asked to remote in.. i cannot get the wifi up, end up using LAN cable.

I notice the models for Legion no longer state what Brand.. only features.. e.g. Wi-Fi 6, 802.11AX (2x2) & Bluetooth® 5.1.

may i know where you get your AX210 and how much? Is it not overkill to get AX210 instead of AX200 unless your router/modem support Wifi 6E? thank you..

I checked AX200/210 is shipped from China for the RM180 price. Local is more expensive. Any reputable recommended seller?


USB Wifi is no joke the price is almost double.. way over the 5% refund..

Update changing it to AC seems stable for now.. need more time to test..

hi. want to check how long the discount process takes? I was promised 5% refund due to different Wifi card given. It's been a month , emailed the PIC in charge twice .. No reply.. Felt like the PIC ghosted me

suppose Intel Wifi but comes with MediaTek. If you order in October 2021, probably you will not have wifi brand/model in your order. They updated the list to Wifi only without brand/ model.
