i placed an order yesterday night not knowing this thread exist. so, my order was without any coupon or discount.

then, i found this thread. and read the tips from sifus here....  

i immediately chat with online cs this morning at 9 to cancel my order thinking to reorder to apply coupon (CARE)

then the cs proceeded to cancel my old order and said he can provide me discount   

so, i reorder on the spot, and i got 10% discount which is higher than CARE! Wow!

for those looking for discount, just chat with cs (the coupon code used by cs is LENXHSBC - i'm not using hsbc card)

i didn't confirm order immediately as i needed to ensure my previous order is really cancelled. (takut reading from some of the issues with double order  )

i also check with delivery issue, he said 6-12 weeks (which i'm fine, not urgent) and gave me his lenovo email add for me to contact if got any issue. well, at least it's not a general email add.

fingers crossed, hopefully delivery got earlier than expected or no further delay 

i'm really curious how can this be changed so suddenly as the laptops are customised. Instead, I think it's the system that already set the timeline, so the cs just update according to the actual dates.

why yours so fast? Mine belum even active yet

Don't too happy 1st and sorry my poor english , i bought on 31 July and also got the confirmation about payment ,

16 agust i received a message that charge the amount from my card , i called the bank and the guy said the lenovo just macam confirm my order and charge the amount.

but 24 august i checked my status become on hold due credit issue , when i called to bank , the bank said it cancel on 16 too without any notification , ask me check back with lenovo.

after that i call to lenovo , they said that's between the finacial department and the bank , they help me to check and solve the problem.

OK , 25 august i received the message that the bank charge me again with the same amount , i called back to bank and this time they confirmed this amount already paid to lenovo.

on the next day 26 august , i checked again my order status the expect ship date become BLANK like what i post before but before the credit issue case my ship date is on september 24 , i email back to lenovo and they replied me all is in good order and ask me check the status order again.

Today morning , i checked again my status , my date place to november 30 instead september 24 , what a nice fxxking service...playing me for a fool.

Just a week ago , my mate bought it.

The only complains i see is the Realtek Wifi adaptor instead of the advertised Intel AX200. And the slow 1R X16 RAM. Only 4 RAM chips per 8GB memory module.

If the price is cheap in shopee/lazada, no one will go through the hassle

u have to know they dun build ur laptop only, the demand is crazy high, plus factors like shortages, logistics etc all played a role in the delays

no one should buy from lenovo site if they need a laptop immediately

the prices without coupon are marked up fyi

they said the shortage will last until 2023...

about the Fn and Ctrl, u can swap the function in bios

GPU a bit con job also though, it's effectively 1 gen behind the desktop 'same model' GPU. 3060 to 2060 etc. Too much power requirement di.

My Jul 22 order still shadow also not seen.

But some who ordered (pre-built) end August already got shipping date these coming few days.

Saw few units left on the legion 5 pro 3070…I guess there will be more stocks coming up…

When did you order ? Yours are customize ore prebuilt…

My previous order directly from china. But this unit just from sg needs to travel a bit more far to justify the shipping expense perhaps. Anyway… it arrived malaysia today… probably will get it this week.
