QUOTE(killdavid @ Jan 4 2021, 05:24 PM) You can't choose which ETFs to buy in SA. Only can mess with risk index, which different risk index holds different (etf) funds. There's no risk index that has ARKK, not in SA. closest way I know people do is buy via FSM MY / SG / HK feeder funds, or buy the ARKK via NYSE directly from foreign brokers like tradestation global (IBKR), Tiger Brokers, or TD Ameritrade. But due to currency conversions etc and fees involved in "moving" funds it may not be cost effective if the amount is too small. |

Have anyone of you tried to withdraw StashAway before? What you wanted to know specifically? And the annual fees is only when deposit is more than RM50K, less no charges? Management fee is always there. It depends on the promo code used for the fee waiver. This post has been edited by GrumpyNooby: Jan 5 2021, 08:57 AM |

QUOTE(xander83 @ Jan 5 2021, 08:38 AM) Their rebalancing now on gold which thank god I manage to dump last week rally in time and recharge my risk due and manage to gain an extra 0.5% how sure are you that extra 0.5% is due to risk change and not mere coincidence? Waiting again after Feb to buy into the market again |

So, now, all support Gold pulak?
US market seems cooling off a bit, which is not a bad thing if you have AAXJ, KWEB, GLD. Wish you all happy and a calm investing year ahead. With no Trump I'm wondering what the markets will react to ? Boris already almost complete the Brexit, left Covid? |

Hi guys. How do you stop the recurring deposit? I have one monthly recurring deposit schedule set up previously and would like to cancel it but i cannot seems to find the option.
![]() Clicking the Schedule Recurring Deposit option just bring me to the page to set up a new one. I did a full withdrawal on 3rd Jan but on 4th the recurring deposit took place. I did check for recurring deposit after 3rd with intent to cancel it but i remember i dont see any so i thought full withdrawal must have also cancelled my recurring deposit automatically. Support is asking me to check Jompay (which i dont have an account) and bank standing instruction (I dont even know how to use M2U to make standing instruction so i dont think its from M2U). Now i am so lost... |

Found this article at CNA SG
Commentary: Letting a robo-adviser decide how to invest your money is a double-edged sword SINGAPORE: Many consumer-facing Financial Technology (FinTech) firms have emerged to help Singaporeans with their financial affairs, from digital payments to insurance to remittances. Among them are robo-adviser firms that assist with investing. Popular ones include StashAway, Syfe and AutoWealth. Robo-advisers rely on algorithms to customise asset portfolios according to the client’s tolerance for risk. Portfolio rebalancing is done automatically in response to changing market conditions. All these automated features eliminate the need for active management by the investor. The low fees charged compared to human investment managers have further stimulated interest in robo-advisers, as seen from numerous articles and discussion threads on local financial forums like Seedly and MoneySmart. https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/commen...anning-13824986 |

Shouldn't the cancellation of the automated direct debit be fixed in SAMY web or app itself?
