QUOTE(youngy @ Aug 29 2019, 09:30 AM) Technician came yesterday and problem had been solved. It was my router problem. Factory reset my router without loading my previous settings and it works fine. Before that, I did tried factory reset + load previous setting and it has problem. Seems like I can't be lazy when doing factory reset on my router. Need to do settings again. =) Since it is not their fault, they are going to charge you RM 53 I guess...

QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 29 2019, 10:45 AM) Since it is not their fault, they are going to charge you RM 53 I guess... Do they charge you for troubleshooting now? They concluded the router I'm using had problem. I told them I'll be buying my own router instead of using TM provided router. Let's see my billing details for next month. Lol Edited: Yup, they indeed charging me for the troubleshooting. Customer's fault. Haha This post has been edited by youngy: Aug 29 2019, 01:03 PM

Seems TM routing issues to Edgecast CDN now affects IPv6 as well. Causes sites like Twitter to fail to load images and videos when Edgecast CDN gets assigned. Sometimes it uses Akamai CDN and loads properly. Previously: QUOTE(michaelkkl @ Aug 18 2019, 03:13 PM) Yes, I'm also noticed the same issue over IPv4. IP belongs to Edgecast CDN. Probably there's some routing problem between TM and Edgecast IPv4. But I tested pbs.twimg.com over IPv6 has no problem, so it's better to have IPv6 enabled. Sometimes it uses Akamai CDN and loads properly. Seems it's fixed now. No more packet loss for both IPv6 and IPv4 and latency is no longer over 100ms. The latency using IPv6 is half of that of IPv4 though. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Edgecast: CODE nslookup pbs.twimg.com Server: UnKnown Address: 2001:xxxx::1

Just got my unifi installation. I was surprised they pulled the cable directly from the pole to the modem. I thought the cable is supposed to be terminated at the wall at least.
Anyway, I did a search on the fibre wall switch (FWS) and get mixed responses. Some says TM don't provide FWS anymore while some say they have it. So are the installer shortchanging us?

Dunno if it's TM or installer's decision. Maybe double check with TM.

Yeah I think will be more accurate to check with TM. The installer standard is pretty bad and they don't look happy at all. They kept on cursing TM for making them a slave and not paying much. And that they had to purchase all the fibre equipment too.
