TP-Link Archer C6 is good enough for 300Mpbs?
*
Yes. It is. But keep in mind that you will need to be on 5GHz AC to get the full speed, so the router will have to have a strong 5GHz signal.

not sure if it was from my router but before this it never happen..

the connection will disconnect itself and i need to wait for like 5-10 min for it to be up again..

it happen for like 4-7 times a day

router use = archer c1200 (tm stock one)

It is probably the Archer C1200. Try changing router and see if that makes a difference.

My unifi is out. This is the second time since last week. Don't know what's causing it.

Update on miloiot tm coverage checker:
It seems that tm had migrated from NOVA to GRN for coverage checks, this gives many benefits such as no limit on number of addresses returned, instant results, autocomplete address, and no need to separate address entered into unit, state, road, roadtype etc..

however i still need to reengineer the coverage checker, pls be patient.

Hi..

Anyone know how big the HOLE at wall needed to pass thru the fiber cable connector from outside pole?

I wanted to make ready the necessary casing/runway for the fiber cable into my house.

Good news. Microsoft finally released up-to-date microcode for Broadwell, Haswell, Ivy and Sandy today.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/40...crocode-updates
Scroll down to the table at the bottom to get the 'optimized' microcode.

The table on top isn't the 'optimised' microcode.

Good to hear that. If it is still working, you can still use it for now.

hi fellas, i'm new here.

I'm having some issues with the default TP Link C1200, for the past few months it's almost always in 100% cpu load despite there's very few clients (at most probably like 1-3 client)... and I already disable all the cpu intensive features (QoS, Virtual servers, ipv6, etc)

i suspect the cpu load is also the reason i've been having frequent packet drops.. can't even voice chat properly..

time to change router?

Enable it by select PPPoEv6 and tick the PPPoE same session with IPv4
And you're ready to go

I think my BTU is faulty. Checked my neighbours and l their Internet are ok.

Syptoms are, BTU has no lights at all except for LAN since its connected to the router. After fews hours, it connects back and have internet. After 2 hours it's disconnected again. Now it's already 8 hours without internet. Before that 2 days without connection.

You guys had this problem before?

There is no microcode update for Nehalem and Core 2 generation from Intel*.
Thus, no significant performance issue if you still use these two cpus.

Yes. See 1st page, 1st post, green text, for list of recommended router based on your speed. That C1200 is well-known for having problems.
