Wow.. Is that a holiday or an Amazing Race ? I plan to go Akihabara and i will spend at least 1 week there to get to know the area properly instead of running around to catch a glimpse of the area. Holidays is to relax, enjoy and take it slow not rushing in a blink of an eye.

Last I checked Japan nos of cases > Malaysia rolleyes.gif

Furthermore Japan is more proximate and popular for Chinese visitors than malaysia.

Need some suggestion from expert here.
I am going to Japan this July for 2weeks and I am exploring Tokyo -> Nagoya -> Kyoto -> Osaka. Then Osaka -> Tokyo directly, to catch my flight back to KL

Questions:
1. I am exploring each cities for few days. Would you suggest me to buy 14 days JR tokyo wide pass?
Or should I buy the shinkansen ticket separately?
e.g. separate shinkansen ticket from tokyo->nagoya, then nagoya->kyoto... would it be cheaper this way?

2. Should I buy an Icoca/Suica IC card? Is Icoca card can be used in Nagoya/Tokyo/Osaka too?
Or it's limited to Tokyo only?

Easiest way is to buy Tokyo Wide Pass, but I'm trying to save some bucks here.
Thanks in advance.

My elderly mom want to defer date of travel (in March with MAS eco)

Do we need rebook the flight at same time we cancel the flight?

We cancel the ticket first and rebook the flight later right?

don't cancel...your money will be forfeited. better you contact MAS for flight reschedule

pay to reschedule better than to pay double the price laugh.gif

That's the 14-day Japan Rail Pass, not Tokyo Wide Pass

Me too. In dilemma. Going early March. Hotel allow cancel and air tickets allow to change date (with fees) but don't know change to which date.

None so far, outside of mainland China the number of cases are really quite low and don’t justify restricting travel between each other.
