Just curious for those of you here go to Japan ... how many of you use so much baggage?

My wife and I our Japan trips ... at most also 25kg each only, never more than that lol.

Anybody brought elderly to USJ before? Which attraction did they go safely?

The elderly in my party is in her 70s generally healthy without  heart condition but got neck ache/problems.

Many attraction listed in the website long list of advisory for guest.

i.e. Terminator 2 3:D
Guests who should not use the attraction
Persons with any of the following conditions: (1) heart conditions, (2) back, neck, or similar conditions, (3) respiratory diseases, (4) convulsions or spasms, (5) expectant mothers, (6) claustrophobia, (7) hypersensitivity to noises, (8) unable to sit up unassisted, and (9) newborn babies.

I thought Terminator is just a show.  confused.gif

The terminator is a 4d show, actors act on stage with special effects, lights and you'll be bombarded with loud noises and the chairs will surprise you too. So that's where the warnings are for.

Yeah... that's around the max but this depends on how many days you are going and whether if it winter or summer.

I'm thinking about TGS2020 also, but most probably will be going with frens ... wanna attend this year's edition, see see if got any nice 'freebies' from the major exhibitors, plus it's PS5 & XBox Series X year.
Must go on Saturday, else Sunday maybe finish if they didn't separate the allocations. Went to TGS2018, had a nice experience (except from the queuing), wish to go again. Capcom booth gave away Blu-Ray game demo disc, finished by late Saturday afternoon.

We didn't stay near Chiba prefecture that time, .... did look a bit at accomodations nearer to Makuhari Messe if going this year, but not many budget choices. So, maybe it's okay to stay nearer to Tokyo Centre (maybe Akihabara or those with direct railway line), since maybe nothing much to see in Chiba after TGS ended for the day. Worth going to both public days, since one day can't cover all the halls, especially if you're going to queue up and buy merchandises.

Oh, and look out for VIP passes, maybe starting sale in June/July ... around 3,000yen. Normal online purchased ticket to TGS is 1,000yen, if buy at gate is 1,200yen.

I mistakenly bought a JR Haruka Airport express from Kyoto to Kansai airport. Since the booking is non-refundable, is it better to just bite the bullet and take the train to Kansai aiport? From there take the Nankai line express to Namba station to go to my hotel in Dotonburi area.

Will this be the cheaper and more convenient option since I will be carrying my luggage?

Come on, the haruka ticket is only Β₯1600 if you have ICOCA. It's only RM60 which I would gladly throw AWAY.

How can it be convenient when you need to take 2 trains and you're carrying heavy luggage and not to mention the extra 1hr 20min hours of traveling time

Nowadays weather so unpredictable. Myoko kogen when I went to ski last year, by end Jan they already got almost 11m of snowfall. This year end Jan barely got 2.5m. With this kind of winter, don’t know whether Sakura will end up being mid March or not πŸ˜‚

Anyway my trip 28Mar - 05Apr, hope it coincides with peak πŸ˜‚
