Hard to comment until you enrich it a bit with the places you plan to go. For example your 2 days Tokyo, how many attractions are you planning to visit? For a quick comparison, my wife and I have spent ~20 days in Tokyo over 6 visits and still haven't covered all the places the city (and surrounding areas) has to offer.

Sorry to ask again. Its about the Hokone Loop. Starting from Hokone-Yumoto, Gowa, Ropeway to Owakudani, Pirate Ship, Hokone Port, bus back to Hokone-Yumoto. How long is the total journey. We plan to leave early from Shinjuku to arrive by 9, maybe 10 am to avoid the long queues (apparently the queues can be horrendously long). We are travelling in early May. Btw some travellers suggest doing the journey in reverse, is that a good idea?

The reason is we are hoping to complete the loop to arrive back at Hakone-Yumoto say by 4pm so that we can enjoy the onsen before heading back to Shinjuku on the same day.

Is it comfortable to sleep if i take the "RELAX[NEW]"? Beside that, any other recommendation for overnight bus to Tokyo? Prefer comfortable to sleep since my parent is following too.

Hi all, need your view recommendations.
I'm bringing my wife and 2 1/2 year old kid to Japan in Mid April.
Me and wife don't know which place to go.
The option is either Sapporo or Osaka.
Two places offers very different activities.
My pros and cons according to my view:
Sapporo:
Pros:
1. Quieter ( want to run away from the hustle and bustle of city)
2. Relaxing to walk around, slower pace.
3. A lot of nature site seeing
4. Maybe lucky to enjoy snow

Cons:
1. Food & accommodation maybe more expensive compared to Osaka
2. Language communication may be slightly more difficult in Sapporo.
3. Public transport may not be as accessible as Osaka

Osaka:
1. Food & accommodation more options and cheaper too.
2. Public transport is more accessible.
3. Huge aquarium park which is one of the largest in the world.

And the cons is the exact opposite of Sapporo Pros.

Option (1): Withdraw japanese yen directly from Japan ATM. There is a fixed charge rate per transaction.
Option (2): Bring Malaysia ringgit and exchange at Japan airport.
Which one cheaper? Option 1 seems less trouble.

Guys, does anyone know whether I can use the 5 days Tateyama Kurobe Option ticket to get transport from Ogizawa station to Shina-Omachi station? I watch youtube and it seems like there is bus directly to that station.

For the Tateyama station to Bijodaira station ride, from the youtuber video it seems like I need to reserve the timeslot to get into it and this is the only ride that required to book the seat, the rest of the 5 types of rides are basically queuing. Did anyone experience this?

too bad wanted to buy disneyland tix from klook, but the collections counter are closed by the time i reach 

Sharing my experience on 28th march. Flight drop on haneda on 915pm. Took around 15 minutes to leave the airplane. Spend around 30 mins on custom and luggage.

So basically is already 10pm when clearing custom. Took another 30 mins to get the voucher from global wifi/plug and play my sim card/ getting pasmo/getting direction to correct train to go my hotel.

Took me another hour to get to my hotel at tawaramachi. Basically when i reached my hotel is already close to 12.

I dont know how my question can be very general.

1 - Jan or Feb (which month better)
2 - how long duration to explore enough places (not rush, meaning not too packed)

The reason I did not limit to what my preference is to get idea from those who went before to share their experience here.
I'm not even asking for a detailed itinerary.
If that is too much, then I'll try elsewhere.
