I mistakenly bought a JR Haruka Airport express from Kyoto to Kansai airport. Since the booking is non-refundable, is it better to just bite the bullet and take the train to Kansai aiport? From there take the Nankai line express to Namba station to go to my hotel in Dotonburi area.

Will this be the cheaper and more convenient option since I will be carrying my luggage?

Japan really couldn't or wouldn't ban Chinese nationals for travels? Really scary thinking about this. Now news about first death of an 80 year old woman and a taxi driver in Japan that got infected really got me thinking to just cancel all my travel plans there.

The other risk with flying to Japan is that someone on your flight suddenly allergy and started sneezing and flu and fever and ppl mistook it for potential coronavirus, then who knows your whole flight kena 14 days quarantine biggrin.gif

If they decide to cancel the Olympic, then I will just let go and let the money burn. Not really much choice here.

Sorry i don't have sad.gif

I only saw ppl compare other flight with AA in the comments section (Cause i'm also fighting to ask for refund now)

The AA FB pages day day flooded with refund comments >.<
But you can try this : https://www.ana.co.jp/en/jp/topics/notice200127/

Unless the gov impose a travel ban to and from Japan, I won’t hold my breath getting a refund from AA. Maybe can pressure them to lower the cost for a ticket change.

Better just cancel all travel plans to Japan. Malaysia gov has banned all travellers from Korea. Japan waiting time only

Japanese people already start hoarding things. First victim, toilet paper.
