I sat the relax seat a few times, can recline all the way down. Pretty comfy to sleep and the seat width is just alright for me (I’m very thin). The only con for these seat is that if anyone around you (back, side) wants to go out, you have to get out of your seat and probably wake the person in front of you to adjust their seat.
*
IC. Btw, I have upgraded to premium seat because currently Willer is having promo for premium. Just addition 300yen extra. Thanks bro.

I am planning to go do this route. Plan to start from Nagano and end at Dentetsu Toyama Station. Issue is Im planning on driving to Nagano and starting from this side but the route will end at Toyoma. Either option would be is to take the car forwarding service which costs 25000yen to shuttle the car to Toyoma or I have to take the Shinkansen back to Toyoma to collect my car. The other method is to go to Toyoma side and go up through Tateyama right up to Murodo and return back to Tateyama to collect my car. Can I backtrack like this because I saw the Tateyama Kurobe Option Ticket is only for on way and cant be backtracked. Is there any better other method to go about this? All inputs welcome.

Option ticket is a cheaper way to complete the whole route in 1-direction.

You definitely can backtrack by purchasing the tickets separately.

i would recommend you complete the whole route. otherwise its just like seeing halfway.

once you're at toyama, take the shinkansen back to nagano.

its only 1 way up becoz by the time you reach toyama its already close to dusk

So after returning in less than a month, hand itchy to go back laugh.gif
Wanted to go end of July this year because got some event I like to attend.

So searching around for airline for this time and I found the prices for ANA/JAL/MAS (>RM2k) too much for my budget.
Alternatives are Royal Brunei (RBA) and Philippine Airlines (PAL). (~RM1.4k)

So far anyone tried PAL can share experience?
No IFE hahaha but since it's a red-eye flight I don't really mind.
That 2 x 23kg baggage allowance is nice.

Dear Japan Veteran Travellers..

May I ask, how do you deal with public/shared bathrooms in Japan ?

I am visiting Fuji area, and since there are very limited accomodations.. I had to choose a accomodation with a Shared Bathroom (open shower area) , right next to their Onsen ...

My wife and I are really not sure what to think, and how this will go... I am currently doing my research online about their etiquette , and .... How do you Malaysians handle Shared Bathing in Japan ? Going in naked to bath is quite unnerving ! lol... Please advice ..

My wife was thinking of wearing her simple swimwear to shower (not entering Onsen) ... But is that rude? Or can we just quickly shower with any swimsuit and get out quickly? LOL sorry if this is a funny question.... Sumimasen... T

I book Wfi Router from Travel Recommends. Seems like a good deal for those who needs WiFi router. I'll be travelling to Osaka on the date bought.

Around RM8.40 per day.

Just avoid eye contact haha

Normally onsen won't allow clothes/swimwear into the bath and onsen area. What ur wife can do is take a piece of towel to cover the modesty part lor. or just choose a later hour when nobody is using.

Don't think swimwear is allowed so scrape that idea.
Normally they provide you with a small towel that you put on your head during onsen so she may be able to use that for something else...

Otherwise, it's a matter of getting used to it being naked.
Nobody will really look at you since the Japs are so used to it already.

Just dont think too much. First time is always the hardest. smile.gif. After a while you will get the "hang" of it. If not try going off peak hours like dinner/lunch time.
