Just a simple post without pics from my recent trip with my parents this week.

TL;DR:
Took Thai Airways and used JR TOKYO Wide Pass to have day trips outside Tokyo.
Mainly just touch and go because it is a short trip.
Details of Wide Pass

1) SUN: Flight KL to Tokyo

Why I took Thai? Because I got it cheap via Expedia.
Thai Airways return with 4 nights in 4 star hotel in Tokyo is just RM2.2k per pax so just try.
Considering that parents are aging, next time will just suck it up and pay more. laugh.gif

RM2.2k inclusive of flight and accommodation for 4 nights in 4 star hotel?? That's a good deal! Which Hotel was it?
*
Park Hotel Tokyo, well it's written there 4 star by Expedia.
Feels very nice and comfortable. Just very weird had to go to 25F for the front.
But can confirm it is the largest bath room I've ever had in Tokyo! biggrin.gif

Location wise, it is next to Shimbashi / Shiodome so very convenient if using train.

So after returning in less than a month, hand itchy to go back laugh.gif
Wanted to go end of July this year because got some event I like to attend.

So searching around for airline for this time and I found the prices for ANA/JAL/MAS (>RM2k) too much for my budget.
Alternatives are Royal Brunei (RBA) and Philippine Airlines (PAL). (~RM1.4k)

So far anyone tried PAL can share experience?
No IFE hahaha but since it's a red-eye flight I don't really mind.
That 2 x 23kg baggage allowance is nice.

Is it me or from searching ANA even until next year the tickets sold are the Economy Basic S Class tickets?
Quite expensive (>RM1.9k) and can't find the cheap promo Class L/K tickets anymore sweat.gif
Sad.
