The premium outlet near KIX airport? The name is Rinku PO or something. There are buses which could transport you to and from KIX to this PO.

Spending the whole day there?  sweat.gif Can never understand women's penchant for shopping.  laugh.gif

Yes, Rinku Premium Outlet. Correct, there are buses to ferry people to and fro.

I hope no... I'm not a big fan of brick & mortar shopping but need to kill time plus it is the last day of my trip, I hope I still have money to shop on that day. rolleyes.gif

Got credit cards. What's the purpose of those high credit limits if not utilized fully? tongue.gif

Lol. On a serious note, you still have almost one full day left for any activities before you head to Kix. Maybe you can plan ahead and not waste time at PO. laugh.gif

Got PP ma... saved on one meal lor.  sweat.gif  tongue.gif

Joking. I really hate to be loitering around the departure areas when I'm flying. That is why I prefer to go into lounges, shake a leg, eat, drink, rest, sleep. read some magazines, watch tv, charge my phone etc.  laugh.gif  Right fruitie? laugh.gif
Ah KIX... then confirm got lounge.
*
I hear ya mate but would rather go for convenience over lounge lolz!
Having said that, I will be using the Sakura Lounge in Narita come this November tongue.gif

If you don't like to carry so much clothes and wear so many layers of clothing, HeatTech is your answer. laugh.gif

Yup thanks. I know 1 week not enough that's why only going the top top spot only.
Initially wanted to go Disneyland and sea, but after googled I think Disney sea next round la not so suitable yet although the only Disney sea in the world is in Tokyo. Huhuhu.

Ueno Zoo already in the list. Ghibli museum, but don't know how to buy ticket yet. No time for shopping.

Any suggestion for accommodation?
*
ghibli museum abit troublesome to buy tickets coz is very limited, if u insist, u need to go their official website and see the date to buy tickets online on certain date a month before if I'm remembered it correctly. on the date and time, u will need to sit infront computer and hunt ur tickets purchase. never buy tickets in tokyo or at the museum coz i doubt it will available.

I thought saw a NHK documentary few months ago in relation to novel activities near KIX during layover, quite informative:

Exploring near Kansai Airport & Treasure Hunting at 100-yen Shops

Hi, sorry if this was asked before.
Lets say I have a printable discount coupon but I would like to use it to buy tickets for 4 persons (so that each person gets a discount), how do I say it in Japanese?

Like how do I say;
"I would like to buy 4 tickets, please. Can I use this coupon for 4 persons each?"

Or do I need to present 4 discount coupons when I purchase the 4 tickets?

Thanks for any kind reply. Arigatou.
*
What sort of discount coupon are you referring to? I'm sure there's T&C written on the coupon on the redemption - whether 1 coupon per ticket or whether 1 coupon is applicable for all/ total tickets.

"chi-ketto yottsu onegaishimasu." (4 ticket please)
"kono ku-pon wa yon-nin wo tsukatte mo-ii desu ka?" (can this coupon be used for 4 people?)

Beware that when you start speaking Japanese from the get-go, they'll assume you're fluent and then you'll be bombarded with Japanese all the way. While you may be able to ask question in Japanese, you may not understand the reply.

I'll suggest starting the conversation or speaking in English instead, and the Japanese phrase is backup in case they could not understand what you try to say in English.

I see, okay2. Will keep that in mind if im going on winter. But autumn i dont think i need to wear HeatTech kan. haha. So far the forecast never say that it will drop below 10. Just hoping that it's not so windy. My first time driving there, normally just take train. haha.

Im going to Kyoto + Osaka + Hiroshima + Tokyo end of october. So it will be autumn at that time, will it be too cold? I saw the tempe around 22 (day) 11(night), should i buy inner layer? Or sweater should be enough? Scared if it's too windy.

i'm going to kyoto + osaka + nara literally next month today
yes, i also saw the night temperature is like genting
but i'm bringing myself wind breaker only

inner layer, that is for like early january...oct is still autumn not winter
*
Just want to offer my 2 yen. I was in Kyoto-Osaka in October last year and I noticed the forecast temperatures this year is similar. From my experience, the early morning and night time can feel a bit chilly for some people when temperatures drop to 10+ C. But in the afternoon it can get very warm - don't let the 20+ C temperatures fool you. I would say a sweater or light jacket is sufficient. If you love cold weather like me, you can actually do without one even. laugh.gif

Nolar... You definitely don't need HeatTech in autumm. Just a light jacket in your bagpack would be enough. If you are in the city, it wouldn't be that cold compared to the outskirts.

My 2 cents, a windbreaker is better than anything else. Sometimes, its mentioned 10+C for the temps, but with wind, it can go wayyyyy lower than that. Worse come to worst, just go to Daiso and get few heat packs for your hand and few masks for your face to retain moisture.
