Near shinbashi it's alright, pretty convenient to navigate around. Didn't know Expedia will have such good packages/ offer. Next time can check it out as well for short/ budget trip. Personally wouldn't even mind a 3-star Hotel and whatnot if the package is a good deal like this...!
Nay cannot compare Korea with Japan; cultural differences.
RM1k for all inclusive is very good value for air ticket. Year end harder to get/ find bargain or deals as it's peak season. You'll have to wait for Sale and book earlier.

AirAsia arriving late chances are very high at Haneda. Due to low cost airlines, always assign to far distant runway.
Plus 10.30pm are peak hour in Haneda due to alot aicraft also landing at this hour. Custom section will kill you.

Chances getting train are very minimum. Better study how to take limousine buses as backup.

November is a good month to catch the autumn colors especially the latter half of November so that's something you can consider if interested.

If you've never been to Tokyo before, you can spend your 2 days on each side of the city.
West - Shinjuku > Harajuku > Meiji Jingu > Shibuya
East - Tokyo Station > Akihabara > Ueno > Asakusa

More than enough shopping and dining just for those areas mentioned above.

If you want something different, visit some of the lesser known areas which are equally good in my opinion.
West - Kichijoji, Shimokitazawa, Nakano
East - Yanaka, Nezu, Sendagi

You can also spend half a day on Odaiba to visit the various malls, have fun at teamlab and finish off relaxing at Oedo Onsen.

Even as a tourist, truthfully, I still see their rates as being reasonable considering the transparency of it, availability, much superior level of service, and the hassle free unlike our overpriced yet still plenty of headaches taxies. Even Grab here gives me headaches at times.
