my user id @iptv has been updated to unifi tv 2.0 and access to all TV Channels.
I was trying to take advantage of the 30 days all access to the tv channels & apps. I can't seems to activate. I have 2 Unifi accounts.

the issues happen to so called new box is not new.... the same same issue still not resolved for months
- lag issue
- subtitles issue (need to select upon change chanel
- the quality on certain channel is subpar compared to white box (classic unifi TV box)
*
I confirm all these problems are still not fixed. Especially the subtitles part — it’s across all devices.

It’s a revamp for Family Pack. One of the only two packs offering all 73 channels; the other one’s Super Star Pack (new name for Ultimate Max Pack).

Can upgrade from Standard to Ultimate Plan — just add RM10. So RM62 in total.

Hi , I’m on the legacy ultimate now and taking additional Netflix 4k on my own. Haha I think I need to reconsolidate my subscription . The new superstar pack looks good. Anyone knows how much to add on to upgrade the superstar pack basic Netflix to 4k?

Seems like the super old silver box in my parents home is still working although it's already migrated to 2.0

Im using unifi tv 2.0 app on my phone now with that account, but definitely gonna let the silver box be used till it can't lol, I can't imagine the headache the new v3 box TM sent over is gonna cause to my parents 😢

But rate with the app is 2mbps while the silver box with vlan is 8mbps right?

For the new Super Star Pack (promo RM111/month until Dec 12), the Netflix app that comes with it is the Standard plan.

If you want to upgrade to the Premium 4K plan, just add RM13/month on top of your pack price.

Last I checked, the VLAN is around 5 Mbps and app is 4.8 Mbps. Might be channel dependent.

I checked again the VLAN bitrates. I did not check every channel and just randomly picked a few. I see 3 types of bitrates.

Attached Image
SD channel for example.

Attached Image
Movie channel for example.

Attached Image
Sports channel for example.

For Unifi 1.0 app, I remembered it showed 4.8 Mbps in the app for movie channel if I remember correctly.

But bitrate does not tell the full story. It also depends on what encoder and encoding settings they used. Also the resolution and framerate.

For Unifi 2.0 app, wait till I get it. I cannot sign in that yet. For that one, since it uses buffer and downloads in bursts, need to get the total bytes transferred in a minute then divide by seconds and convert to bits to get an estimate of the average bitrate.

i am on "ultimate max" billed as RM89.90.
yes, i get all the mentioned streaming apps - netflix, hbomax, disney+, iqiyi, cmgo ++.
netflix 4k additional cost is now RM13.
the complain i hv is CMGO does not work on certain androidtv, it works on phone, PC, unifibox.

given highest pack is now priced at "promo" RM111, i suppose it's already cheap for me.
the broadband 800mbps at RM119, can't get cheaper even if i go 500mbps.
they were supposed to upgrade for free to 1gbps, made appointment but they never came.
i hv forgotten about it, won't bother anymore.

hope info is useful to some users.

received a call from 03-88932000 ™ to check if I faced any issues installing the new UPB as they were able to check that I have yet to activate?

I am still on the white stb due to 'channel numbers'
But I did update via website to unifi tv 2.0

Since the Unifi TV 2.0 app works entirely over the internet as an OTT service, it doesn’t rely on the IPTV functions of your White Box.

That means your current box will continue to work for channel browsing and playback until TM eventually shuts down the IPTV broadcast. Once that happens, all viewing will have to go through Unifi TV 2.0.
